  • This walker was among the first walkers to be killed after discovering Glenn and Rick after the rain.
  • As Rick and company fight off a large herd of walkers, this walker was thrown directly at Rick by Tomas in an attempt to kill him. The walker is quickly taken out by Daryl, who saves Rick as it snaps it's jaws at him. When asked why he did this, Tomas explained, "Shit Happens".
  • This walker was the first to attack Ed inside his tent and devour him, soon followed by many more.

  • As Rick and the surviving group arrive at the prison they find that the prison yard is overwhelmed with the undead. They soon begin plotting how to get inside the prison and take out the roamers.
  • These walkers came out from the Atlanta city and swarmed the camp, killing Ed, Amy and two other unnamed survivors; Jim was also bitten by one of the walkers.
  • Walker was encountered in the department store while the survivors were looking for Merle. She was put down quietly so as to not alert a herd.

T-Dog tells Carol to not forget him and charges at the two undead men, who proceed to bite him as he pins them against the wall for Carol to escape.
  • While Rick stayed with Morgan and his son, Duane, one of the walkers outside set off a car alarm. With this, many walkers in the area began to swarm the area, attracted by the noise. Among the many undead people is Morgan's wife, Jenny.
  • Among the thousands of undead in the streets, this one has come to stand out the most. Being one of the walkers that chases Rick, one of the many who take down the Siggard's horse, and also the artist and penciller for The Walking Dead, Charlie Adlard.
  • As Rick, Daryl, T-Dog and Glenn searched for Merle they come across his severed hand and later this walker. This walker is best known for having no jaw and was swiftly killed by Daryl with an arrow to the head.

The door having been locked by T-Dog before leaving, saving his life.
  • While sneaking his way through the overrun prison yard, he is distracted and is almost attacked by this walker. The walker is quickly taken down by Daryl as he provides cover for him.
  • These walkers were the, so far only, walkers depicted using an object or tool: bricks, to break through a glass door to get to Rick and his group.

  • This walker was one of two walkers who noticed the hole in the wall created by Rick and his group as they escaped Woodbury. The walker made its way in and later attacked a fleeing Richard Foster and began biting him, another walker joined in and also began eating Richard. Was later shot by Andrea while eating Richard Foster.
  • As Rick and Shane begin to fight about what to do with Randall, the noise they are making begins to draw the attention of nearby walkers. Rick. Shane, and a tied up Randall begin to fight for their lives. As more and more appear, Rick and Randall make it back to the car, but Shane is left by himself in a surrounded bus. Rick begins to contemplate leaving him but instead rescues him before he is overrun.
  • When the survivors entered the church, three walkers were seen sitting in the church pews, this walker was the biggest intimidating one killed.
  • This is the first walker killed by Rick Grimes using a melee weapon.
  • Michonne volunteered to kill the walker that she, and her group found in the woods, about to kill her with her sword, before realizing she lost her sword, and pursued to kill the walker using the butt of her rifle.
  • After being helped out of the locked cafeteria, Tomas, Axel, Oscar, Andrew, and Tomas are taught by Rick, Daryl, and Theodore, how to kill walkers. Upon finding several stumbling walkers, Rick tells them to take them down. Before reminding them to go for the head, the group attack the undead prisoners in a riot style. Beating them violently, shoving them, etc. This walker was held back by Big Tiny as Axel proceeded to stab the undead man in the stomach with a shank from his shoe.
  • Both times as Rick, Randall, and Shane drove to and from Mert County, Shane spots this walker roaming the fielding making him think about the choices Rick has made and questions his leadership. It was revealed, during a special Season 5 sneak peek edition of The Talking Dead, by showrunner Scott Gimple that his original intention for the roamer was for it to be naked.
  • After a short shot out, Rick's group chases the Grady's survivors. Daryl heard something, and lagged behind, checking a parked burnt RV. Lamson jumped out, pounced Daryl, and dragged him onto a walker, tried to kill Daryl via bite from the Walker. Daryl pulled its head off, and uses it to hit Lamson's head. before being intervened by Rick who held Lamson by a gun point.
  • Outside, the fence gives way and a hoard of walkers get in. Rick and Carl run into the courtyard, where they get assault rifles and gun down the many walkers, only after the swarm break through the two fences.
  • After the walker, on the left side, was killed, having it's head smashed in against the wall with Caesar's bat. Daryl, in response, took out his knife and threw it into this walker's head, very close to Caesar who was not paying attention and gloating about his kill.
  • When Gabriel ran away from the church to get to where Bob is believed to be kept by the Hunters. he encountered a walker with a cross still attached to its rotting body, Gabriel smashed her body onto a pole, impaling her body there, before leaving her behind because he can not bring himself to kill the walker that he believed was a devoted christian before she died.
  • Was a rotting walker found under a tree by Hershel and Carl. The walker, having it's lower half detached, was found laying under a tree; moss and grass growing on him.
  • As Michonne was fleeing Merle and Gargulio in the woods. She became surrounded by several walkers and was soon outnumbered by the undead. During her struggle to survive the ordeal. She disemboweled this walker, whose guts landed directly on her as she lay below. Soon then the walkers approaching the area began to disperse and she soon discovers that the smell of the walkers can be used as camouflage.

  • When the group reached the foodbank to obtain some foods. They found a hole in the ground, filled with waters, and stinking walkers. Rick's group uses shelves to barricade themselves from the walkers, as they kill them using their weapons.
  • As walkers began to invade the courtyard of the prison, T-Dog quickly fought back several and attempted to lock the gate to prevent more from entering. As he did this, this walker approached behind him and then fatally bit into his shoulder, causing his demise.
  • Rick gets a sidearm from him as well as a grenade. He is also the first lurker Rick encounters.
  • This walker tried to get Lori once she was outside her car after she crashed it by accident; she crawled away and then reached for her gun inside the wrecked car where she was able to shoot the walker.

As they roll in rats trapped in cages to distract the walkers, Carl rushes over and grabs a old picture of his family, the item he set out to get.
  • While roaming Martinez's camp, Meghan runs into a walker who had made it into the base without being spotted. Her screams attract help and they come rushing to find her. She attempts to crawl underneath a RV, but the determined walker manages to grab her leg. The two struggle while Alisha and Tara grab hold of one of the walkers leg and pull. The decayed skin begins to peel off and the walker begins getting close to bite Meghan before being shot by Philip.
  • While scavenging the veterinary college for medical supplies, Daryl and his supply-group are ambushed by walkers who have seemingly died from the same flu-like disease present in the Prison.
  • When Terminus is overrun by walkers, and the survivors are fleeing from the area. Daryl bashed the walker's head in using a pipe, right after he killed the other one nearby.
  • Bit Hershel in the ankle, causing his amputation.
  • While staying at a newly discovered home, Lizzie is discovered playing with a walker by Carol. As Carol rushes out to take down the walker, Lizzie begs for her not to kill her new found friend. Carol dispatches the walker either way which causes an emotional distraught Lizzie to snap. The walker was called the "Griselda" walker on Talking Dead.
  • While traveling to The Prison, Andrea and Milton run into this walker. After subduing the zombie, Andrea hacked off its arms and then curb-stomped it on its on arms to break its jaw, so as to not bite. As Andrea begins to wrangle the zombie, she refers to it as her "Guardian Angel"; the zombies body odor covering her scent so other zombies don't attack her. She then proceeds off to The Prison and where she later discards the zombie, The walkers outside the prison no longer appear at the prison in season 4, meaning that the "Guardian Angel" walker and the rest of the walkers have been put down.
  • When Abraham, and his group are continuing their journey to DC to get Eugene , their road are blocked by town filled with walkers. The numbers of the walkers are not specified, but it could reach to thousands of walkers.
  • Falls from the collapsed ceiling of the Big Spot in 30 Days Without An Accident. This walker almost attacks Bob Stookey before having it's head stomped on by Daryl. Also of note is that this walker was portrayed by two different actors, one of which is a double amputee.
  • As the group watch the fence they find that more and more walkers are gathering together, bending the barbed wire fence down. The group quickly rush out and do their best to keep it from falling, some of the walkers now climbing over each other and making it to the top of the fence before being killed. The undead are taken care of and repairs are later made to the fence.
  • Gabriel is found surrounded by walkers, he escaped the death at their hands by climbing up a rock, only to be caught by the foot. panicked. he screamed for help. found by Rick's group who was fortunately traveling near by. Rick, and his group killed all the walkers, saving Gabriel's life.
  • After letting Michonne free, Merle drives back to the hotel where they previously were and begins to drink heavily while blaring loud music. As more and more undead roamers appeared and crowded his vehicle, he begins to start the car drive slowly away, making sure the walkers are following him. He then leads them to Verlin's Feed & Seed Co., where The Governor and his men wait for Michonne. Merle, as he approaches the building, abandons the car and begins to attack the Woodbury soldiers as they fight off Merle's undead herd.
  • Carol and Rick search a house, finding several supplies. A walker comes out, falls down the stairs, and Carol kills it.
  • When Terminus is under attack by a herd of walkers caused by Carol Peletier, the explosion that opened the gate for herself, and the herd walkers caused him on fire. It is unknown what happened to this walker, though he is most likely shot down by one of the Terminus Residents.
  • As Rick enters Atlanta, he runs into a massive herd of zombies in downtown. As the walkers procced to devour his horse, Rick attempts to escape and hides under a tank, on the verge of death he spots a escape hatch under the tank as the incoming walkers surround him.
  • This walker was the first walker to notice the loose panel in the Woodbury wall after Rick's group escape and was the first zombie to infiltrate Woodbury, was later shot by Andrea while eating Richard Foster.
  • While collecting meds for a sick Andrea, Michonne comes across several walkers inside the drug store she is in. She begins to take out several one by one and eludes and confuses others. She impales these two with her katana as they rush her and are swiftly decapitated. Their heads snapping at her as she leaves the building.
  • Shortly after arriving in King County for weapons and supplies, Rick, Michonne, and Carl noticed that most of their hometown had been rigged with traps. As they looked around they came across this walker, hungrily attempting to get to caged rat and impaled on the sharpen bamboo that surrounded it.
  • When Daryl awoke from his hallucination of Merle, he found this walker biting and gnawing at his shoe, he got up and beat it in the face with a stick he used to help him walk since he injured his leg. He cut and took the ears from this walker to make a necklace.
  • 'Brian' attempts to obtain oxygen bottles from a nearby Nursing Home. As he does so, he comes across this elderly, buckled down walker in a wheelchair. As he escapes the nursing home, the walker is knocked over but is unable to walk as her legs are swollen and limp from the lack of blood flow to them.
  • During the first assault, as multiple walkers enter the inner gate , Rick is caught off guard by two walkers who pin him up against the chain link fence, inches away from biting him. He is saved though as the Dixon brothers return, deciding to stay with Rick's group.
  • As The Governor and his men attacked the prison, one of his men drove through the outer gates of the prison and quickly stopped. The back of the doors were then opened and the driver running off back to The Governor, having unleashed a mass group of walkers into the field, almost killing Hershel. These walkers aren't seen in Season 4 because the courtyard is cleared, indicating that they are dead.
  • As Andrea and Shane searched for Sophia, they came across a suburban neighborhood called "Wiltshire Estates". The two, thinking she may have went to one of the houses for shelter, began searching the neighborhood. While the two were searching, they came across a pile of burnt bodies and a massive group of walkers. The two then began to escape, but Shane saw the opportunity for her to learn to shoot and began having her shoot and kill many of the undead.
  • Chased Rick, Michonne, Oscar, and Daryl as they made their way to Woodbury. As they are chased they find a temporary sanctuary in an seemingly-abandoned shack. As they enter they encounter a crazed confused hermit, who threatens to call the cops on Rick and the group. As he attempts to run out of the building he is stabbed in the chest by Michonne and his corpse tossed to the invading walkers as they make their way out the back.
  • As the group realizes the size of the oncoming herd, they are surrounded. Daryl then hits the car into reverse and proceeds to drive the car over several walkers before getting stuck on top on them.
  • When Daryl awoke from his hallucination of Merle, he killed the first walker biting at his shoe; then he was attacked by this walker while reloading his crossbow, he eventually shot it in the head. He cut and took the ears from this walker to make a necklace.
  • As everyone gathers around Hershel Carol seeks help from Glenn, she then takes him out and points out this walker. Explaining to Glenn now that Hershel is unconscious and not able, she will have to perform a Cesarean on Lori and wishes to practice on this walker. The walker is then killed by Carol and is drug inside the fence. She then begins to perform a cesarean on the walker.
  • Were the first two walkers that Andrew lead into the prison, causing the deaths of many of Rick's group. Using a deer carcass and limbs as bait to attract nearby walkers into the prison. The Prison was cleared of walkers in Season 4, so they are most likely dead.
  • This walker was trying to get to Lori inside her car after she crashed it by accident when she hit a walker on the road.
  • As Otis and Shane searched for medical supplies for a severally wounded Carl, the two spotted a large herd of walkers, roaming in and around the school. The two sneak their way in and quickly search for the supplies all while evading chasing walkers. After escaping the walkers, on numerous accounts, the two finally find the medical supplies needed; but the walkers kept pursuing.
  • One of three walkers inside the church, this was the second walker to be killed.
  • As Daryl and Merle continue to travel through the forest, having left Rick's group after refusing to let Merle in, the two come across a bridge. On top the bridge a Latino family are fighting for their lives as more and more walkers come to them, attracted by the sound of their shrieking baby. The Dixon brothers then appear and help the father and son fight off the invading walkers as the mother and baby hide in the car. Daryl then goes to the car where several walkers are crowded around, trying to get in, and proceeds to eliminate them. This walker being the first, having its head smashed into the windshield as Daryl rammed the butt of his crossbow into the back of its skull.
  • In their journey to Terminus, Carol, and Tyreese encountered a half faced walker, with a handcuff on her hand. Carol told Tyreese to kill the walker, since she is the one who holds baby Judith, but he refused, told her that he is not ready yet to kill since what happened to Karen, and the Samuels Sisters. Carol took the knife instead, and drove it into the walker's skull.
  • After Michonne discovers them locked up, she sets them free and kills them with her katana; the walkers are later replaced with new ones.
  • As the group hid from the massive highway herd, T-Dog slipped and cut his forearm, attracting several walkers. One of them came close to attacking him until Daryl snuck up from behind and stabbed it in the back of the head. He gives him the motion to be quiet as he lays the now dead corpse ontop of him and another one from a car on himself to masque their smell from the herd.
  • Seen on two different occasions by Rick in '30 Days Without An Accident'. Seems to have been bleeding from its eyes, just like Patrick did before he reanimated in the prison showers. Possible sign of new infection or virus.
  • After Bob collapses under a shelf containing booze, the walkers on the roof, hearing the noise, begin walking towards the weakened center of the roof. The undead soon begin to collapse through the ceiling, causing the collapsed helicopter on top to begin to dip down on the survivors position.
  • This walker was killed by Caesar Martinez as he, Daryl, and Andrea protected the building Rick and The Governor were negotiating in. The walker is more known for its brutal end after Caesar destroyed its head with his baseball bat, showing off for Daryl.
  • After pulling back the walker crawling towards Bob, see Cracked Face Walker, this walker came from underneath the shelf and lunged out at Zach. Taking him down and biting him on the ankle and in the neck before being crushed by the collapsing helicopter from above.
  • After being threatened by Rick and being told to listen to him and that he is no longer the leader, Tomas began plotting his revenge. Later, after brutally beating Big Tiny as a message to Rick, Rick, Daryl, and T-Dog note that if he continues his brutal behavior to take him down. After being given proper weapons to fight the undead, Tomas is told to open a door that leads to a large room of walkers. He, instead opens both doors and the undead prisoners begin to swarm the room.
  • This walker was the first one spotted by Rick on the highway. He was about to take her down when he saw another walker, followed by a massive herd.
  • Trapped Jimmy in Dale's RV before breaking in and devouring Jimmy inside.
  • The walker's stomach was cut open to check its insides for Sophia's human remains but none were present.
  • To conserve ammunition and be more stealthy, Rick tells Shane to start using melee weapons and knives more often to dispatch walkers.
  • While golfing on top of a RV, drinking, Caesar and Philip have a heart to heart about the past and the future of the group Martinez is leading. After Martinez proposes to Philip that he can be co-leader of the group and lead alongside him, The Governor bashes him over the head with a golf club and kicks him off. He then goes down to the man and begins dragging him over to a nearby pit. While Martinez struggles with The Governor while pushes him down head first into the full pit, Philip tries to talk himself out of killing his friend, but fails to do so as Martinez's head is eaten in and the rest of his body is dragged into the pit.
  • The walkers are first seen when Bob regaining his consciousness and revealed to be eaten by the Hunters. the walkers are trapped inside of a school, locked behind a glass. The walkers are later seen when Gabriel checked the area where Bob being eaten, running frantically away from the walkers, who broke the glass, and start chasing him. the walkers reached the church, and attacked Michonne, and Carl. some are shot by Carl, some are slashed by Michonne. before eventually got rammed by Abraham Ford whom saved Michonne, Carl, Gabriel, and bay Judith seconds before the walkers break the barricades on the church door which locked them in.
  • The walker was seen chasing after Sophia on the highway and through the nearby forest. This walker wasn't seen being killed but is assumed to have been killed because of the way Rick smashes it with a rock before going to the next scene.
  • In the aftermath of the walkers attack in the stinking hole. Bob walks towards a floating box which he believed contained foods his group needed. when he grabbed the box, a hand emerged from the water, pulling him in. Bob fought the walker, only to be bitten, and revealed much later on. Sasha pulled the walker off from panicked Bob, and smashed its head using the box Bob tried to get.
  • This walker was seen walking along the outskirts of the Woodbury wall only to be shot by Rick as they escape. The walker is also portrayed by former Pittsburgh WR Hines Ward, making him the second celebrity to portray a walker on the show, the other being Scott Ian, the guitarist for Anthrax.
  • The walkers were once a group of survivors who got burnt. their melted corpses are left in the scene, before reanimating as walkers. Rick's group encountered the walkers when they reached the Hospital, to rescue Beth Greene, and Carol Peletier. Bob Lamson told Sasha that one of his friends; Travis, was once a survivor who got killed along those who are now the melted walkers. but it is not known whether he told the truth. These walkers were possibly firebombed by the military during the firebombing of Atlanta.
  • As walkers in riot gear appear, this walker comes out and attacks Maggie, Rick then shoves him down and rips off his mask, removing the skin on his face as well.
  • These walkers were roaming around Hershel's farm when they were viciously beaten, stabbed, and shot repeatedly in retaliation for Dale's death, who had died the previous day.
  • After Big Tiny comes to terms with how close he was to be killed after killing multiple walkers after he split away from the group, this walker sneaks up from behind him, hands and feet cuffed. The walker then rips its own hand off revealing its wrist bone and stabs Big Tiny in the shoulder, causing his demise.
  • As The Governor walked around the damaged mill, he came across several walkers. This one, coming from behind him, was quickly subdued as The Governor guided him back and impaled the hook into the back of the walker.
  • The walker managed to grab Maggie's arm and tried to bite her before being killed by Glenn. Glenn hits it with a store shelf but only cuts its neck; it gets up and tries to attack again before Glenn pulls out a bladed weapon and kills it.
  • The walker was first encountered by Carl who unintentionally lured him towards Hershel's Farm where he attacked and disemboweled Dale, causing his demise.

  • In an attempt to prevent The Governor from attacking The Prison, Milton snuck out under the cover of the dark and set the trapped walkers on fire; killing most and successfully destroying the pits. The surviving, severally burned walkers are presumably put down.

As they come out of the barn, the walkers are shot multiple times, along with the walkers were Shawn, Annette, and Sophia.
  • Tyreese is forced to go outside which is crowded with walkers by Martin, Tyreese possibly pushed him, and caused the walker to be impaled. After the group reunites, it is strongly believed that the walker is putted down by one of the members.
  • Rick and Carol then go out to the yard to find several tomatoes, having a short conversation while doing so. As they continue to move, they suddenly find a basket with dropped food, and then find Ana's leg. At the distance, they see what is left of Ana being consumed by two walkers.

  • The walker was seen also chasing Sophia from the highway and through the forest. Rick lures him to an area where he surprise attacks him and beats him with a rock.
  • After the death of Shane at the hands of Carl, the shot gathered the attention of a passing herd. This herd was responsible for the loss of Hershel's farm. Though the survivors fought hard, the fight would lead to many deaths of the herd. But at a cost of the lives of Jimmy and Patricia.
  • After rescuing Daryl and Merle, Rick and Maggie reconvened with Glenn at their meeting place, as he was searching for some supplies in a truck, this walker lurched out at Glenn, whom quickly took him down and proceeded to stomp it in the face.
  • After running into Morgan, the trio begin to leave their hometown, unable to convince Morgan to join their group. While leaving, the three spot a body of charred walkers, with Morgan adding more to the pile and setting fire to the now deceased dead.
  • While tied to a post outside of a motel, Merle makes noise which begins to draw a large amount of walkers. While he continues to work on the vehicle, fending off walkers as well, Michonne, still tied up, fights for her life. As she fights against several attacking biters, this one gets close to her before being knocked back and strung up against the post. Michonne then "strangles" the walker, slowly decapitating the undead woman.
  • As Philip and Meghan outrun a swarm of walkers, they fall into one of Martinez's pits. Occupied by two biters, Philip goes on the offensive to protect Meghan. He pushes one away and grabs one by the throat, ripping it out before pummeling the other's face in. Once through with the walker he goes back to the one with the ripped throat and places a bone in it's mouth where he dislocates his jaw and then some, effectively protecting Meghan and saving her.
  • This walker was hanging from a tree with its legs eaten when Andrea and Daryl saw it while looking for Sophia; Andrea asks Daryl to use an arrow to kill it as an act of mercy.
  • As Rick searches for Lori's body, he finds the room where she died, but her body is missing, As he inspects the blood pool, he follows it around the corner to this walker who has eaten her remains, bones and all. Out of rage, Rick sticks his gun in its mouth and shoots it, killing it, After this he takes out his knife in rage and repeatedly stabs the walker in the stomach.
