  • Nightingale's Roost

  • A powerful, four-dot Solar manse that is also Amber's First Age Tomb. It produces the Stone of Inhuman Beauty, an iridescent white oval that increases Amber's Appearance to 7 when she is wearing it. The manse has a slight air aspect to it. The Roost requires maintenance. It requires at least one hundred people per month to be happily entertained within it for at least four hours apiece. Viridian was aware of this, and this is one of the primary reasons for many of his more... questionable business decisions.

  • A powerful, four-dot Solar manse that is also Amber's First Age Tomb. It produces the Stone of Inhuman Beauty, an iridescent white oval that increases Amber's Appearance to 7 when she is wearing it. The manse has a slight air aspect to it. The Nightingale's Roost has withstood the ravages of time moderately well from a geomantic standpoint, thanks to the care of Viridian Wind, a member of The White Symphonic. Much to Amber's displeasure, it had been transformed from a beautiful amphitheater into a casino, and later into a brothel as well. The party (with the help of the Symphonic) has started renovations and restoring the manse to the beauty it had in the First Age. The Roost amplifies any performance sound within it, its acoustics being more akin to an enormous masterwork instrument than a mere building. This amplification can cause certain sonic Charms to affect several subjects at once, provided the user is standing on the stage. Furthermore, any person entering it is made subtly happier. This is harmless but may be resisted by spending a point of willpower. Finally, it can replay nonmagical sounds it has heard. Its performance ability is imperfect by Solar standards but fairly impressive. This final ability can be controlled by anyone attuned to the manse. The Roost requires maintenance. It requires at least one hundred people per month to be happily entertained within it for at least four hours apiece. Viridian was aware of this, and this is one of the primary reasons for many of his more... questionable business decisions. This is the first tomb the party has discovered, as they headed there shortly after recovering the Castestones and talking with Leviathan.
