Pruitt played in 152 games during his career, rushing for 1,844 carries for 7,378 yards and 56 combined touchdowns and is currently 43rd all time in rushing yards. He accounted for 9,238 of All-Purpose yards and ranks 3rd on the Cleveland Browns career rushing list. He owned a Ford dealership in Lima, Ohio, and currently owns a Honda dealership in Akron, Ohio. He was inducted into the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.
