rdfs:comment
  • Baluik played junior hockey with the Fort William Canadians and the Kitchener Canucks, both in the Montreal Canadiens system. He did not get a chance with the Canadiens, though, and only played in the NHL when the Boston Bruins claimed him. He played seven games for the Bruins in the 1959-60 season while winning the Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award as AHL rookie of the year that same season. He finished off his career with the AHL's Providence Reds as one of the league's leading scorers but never got back into the NHL.
