- Nin had served in the order for over a thousand years by the time of the Bane Crisis during which he accompanied his apprentice to Neimodia to kill Darth Sharka. Nin was a valiant warrior but was badly wounded in the battle with Sharka, but survived. However, his injuries and the guilt over surviving were so bad that he left the Order and went into self-imposed exile. However, Nin returned to help defend the Secret Temple on Ossus from the Sith Lord Darth Merik and stop XoXaan's Glove from falling into the wrong hands. Nin would personally strike down Merik, saving fellow Jedi Djinn Altis from being struck down. Following the battle, Nin felt able to return to the Jedi Order and took personal guardianship of the Glove when it was discovered that the new Master of the Secret Temple Deva Padj had been corrupted by it. He took the Glove to the Xeros Asteroids for safekeeping, but was tracked by a force led by Darth Clous and Zan Azar, using fallen Jedi Gangru Morpir to track the glove. As a Republic fleet battled Azar's fleet, Nin battled Clous and Morpir in the Disciple's base in teh Asteroids. Nin, knowing that the Glove couldn't fall into enemy hands, threw it into the base's power generator where it vaporized in a cloud of dust. Nin fled the Asteroids and returned to the Jedi Order. However, when Nin learned form Deva Padj that Gangru Morpir had located the Second Glove of XoXaan and was attempting to bring back the original glove, Nin went with Padj to the Xeros Asteroids to stop him. He and Padj confronted the Sith Lord together, and even with the arrival of another force-wielder to help him, Nin defeated them both, although Morpir had trapped Padj under a metal railing. As Nin was about to kill Morpir, he was stabbed from behind by a dart from the Sith Lord Darth Verona. He was also stabbed in the stomach by Morpir but he was still able to defeat Morpir, Verona and her apprentice Arula Dru, and he prepared to throw the Glove into the power core. However, Padj succumbed to the influence of the Glove and threw the railing at Nin's back, killing the Jedi Master before he could fulfill his task. Nin became one with the force, disappearing even before his body fell to the ground.
