  • "Rika certainly seems to be growing on Kasumi." Fumiko grumbled, looking at Kasumi and Rika, sitting next to each other under the night sky. Kasumi was most defintely scared of Fumiko, and, while grateful to Kachihi, seemed to be the most attached to Rika. Perhaps Rika's motherly nature allured the boy to him. Rika reached across to Kasumi's face, brushing off a grain of rice. "So, Kasumi, how are you liking it here?" Rika asked, smiling as he watched his new protege eat. This didn't go unnoticed by Rika. "Still hungry?" He asked, concerned. "Did she feed you well?"

Kasumi's voice still packed that stutter, as he continued to chow down on his food like a pig with a troth. Kachihi could only stare in amazement, as he couldn't believe how someone so small had such atrocious table manners. "W-Wait...It looks like he's devouring somebody's soul..." Rika chuckled. It was nice to see someone eat so healthily, especially when it was food she'd made for him. "Kasumi, slow down, or you're going to choke. Are you breathing or chewing?" Kasumi gave a uncharacteristically sharp reply, uttering a single word "Inhaling." Such a response caused Kachihi to shrink back, immediately fearing such an omnivore. He wouldn't be surprised if Kasumi could devour a car or something. "W-Wait, he's serious...!?" Rika took the bowl from him the moment the last grain of rice was gone, and placed it away from Kasumi. "I'm not having you inhale the bowl too." He said, his motherly tone all the more apparent. "I'll give you something else to eat later. Now, tell me, how are you liking it here?" Kasumi's tone remained shy, though he affirmed, "Y-Yes. This is a wonderful place. I-I'd like to thank you for choosing me." He seemed so sweet; though the fact that he was licking his lips reminded Kachihi of a certain psychotic doctor. Not a good sign. Kasumi Kaburagi could probably devour them all and bathe in their blood. He was getting paranoid. This didn't go unnoticed by Rika. "Still hungry?" He asked, concerned. "Did she feed you well?" "Well...When that blonde woman told her that by consuming my insides, she would the ability to secrete rainbows instead of breast milk. Let's just say...It hurt. And there was no rainbows." Kasumi responded nonchalantly, as Kachihi broke composure, faceplanting upon the ground in sheer bewilderment. Rika's eyes widened. "I..see..." He gently kissed Kasumi on the cheek. "Well, you're here now. We don't abide by Nika's word." "You think you could get away~" Along with this declaration, a shrill cacaphonic laughter resounded throughout the air, before it suddenly ceased. While it seemed out-of-place, it served as a reminder that Nika Kazoraem was in control of the situation 24/7. "Creepy as hell." Fumiko muttered. "She'd be perfect for special effects or something." Rika sighed, picking up the bowl and helping Kasumi up. "Come now. Let's make you something else to eat, you're definitely still hungry." Fumiko sighed. "Kachihi, wake up. We're gonna pay Sayaka and Agito a visit. Bet they're doin' it, what with all the privacy we've been giving them." Kachihi growled in irritation as he scrambled to his feet. "Seriously, is that ALL you can think about, woman?" Kachihi was oblivious to the slip of the tongue- in fact, he didn't hear it at all, but it was clear he was getting used to be used as a pinball; being throwing around to fulfill many a situation. "...Che. Let's go, then." "You called me "woman", Kachihi." Fumiko smiled, placing his mouth near Kachihi's ear. "Has my status of being on the receiving end led to that impression?" "U-Uh..." Kachihi was at an utter loss for words; how could someone mention something like that so casually? He couldn't believe it. "...Che. Keep your thoughts to yourself, got it?" He wasn't amused, before he leaned in so casually, continuing, "We shall talk about this later." Acting as if he said nothing, the Mototsu-Seishin-Nightwalker hybrid strolled off. They knocked on Sayaka and Agito's room when they reached it. "Sayaka, Agito, it's...well, us!" Fumiko called in. "If I may remind you, I would advise you not to interrupt my ahem, interests." As Kachihi opened the door, he noticed Sayaka on top of Agito; both didn't look too clothed. Seemed as if Sayaka was the internet meme, pedobear personified. Kachihi growled, responding hypocrtically, "Dammit, there's children here!" "Sayaaaaakaaa..." Fumiko grinned mischeviously. "I knew you were like that, but in a house where you're staying as our guests? Baaaaaad." He paused. "I'm kidding, make her scream. I'll put it on the Spirit Internet." Sayaka's eyes sharpened as she glared at Fumiko, quickly changing the subject as if nothing had happened; hell, even Sayaka and Agito were perfectly clothed, acting as if they were merely talking. Kachihi's eyes widened, surprised at how she could do such a thing at light-speeds. "H-How did you...?" Sayaka snapped, "Magic." "Wonder what it's like to have a sex as a girl..." Fumiko seemed preoccupied with the thought now. "I wonder...if I could find someone who can possess bodies...then copy their power like I did Sayaka's Kidō...then I could possess Agito...and Sayaka would..." He kept rambling. Kachihi sighed, slightly annoyed. "J-Just shut up. Let's just get out of here." Kachihi scowled, as he walked off, leaving Sayaka and Agito alone together. Cat ears sprouted out of Fumiko's head, and his hand caught Kachihi by the collar. "Getting out of here would be a good idea." Gunshin's voice was detected now. "It seems we're about to have an unwelcome guest." "..." Kachihi remained silent, his eyes sharpened. He wasn't really sure what to do, to be honest. "Seems he's coming for you." Gunshin looked over at Agito. "I sense traces of Tenjōgekido on your soul. You were his meat puppet before, weren't you? Nitsuku's?" "Y-Yeah. I can't remember much, but he's always been there; a voice in my head and the source of my powers.Though now they're gone, I can't do anything..." Her voice was full of doubt; as if Agito thought the wouldn't be able to serve any role other than an uneeded load on the backs of the others. Kachihi responded, "...It's no problem. That's what allies are for; if you can't do anything, we're here to assist you, so stop whining." "And assist you will have to, because Nitsuku is coming." Gunshin frowned. "What fun this will be, the cat and wolf again." Agito crossed her arms in annoyance. "Whatever. Let's just get this done." Her eyes sharpened and she had a noticable scowl plastered upon her face. Gunshin left silently, motioning Kachihi to follow. "Kachihi, I am curious. What is your view on my inhabiting Fumiko. Do you view me as a threat to you or a hazard to his safety?" "...No. You've done nothing wrong so far as I can tell." Kachihi responded, as he continued, "...Alright. Stay on guard, will you?" "I'm always on my guard." Gunshin replied simply. "He's coming, but we should get outside. We'll be down before he gets here." Scrambling outside, Kachihi noticed a certain figure.; acloaked figure wearing a white wolf's mask. Very little could be made out; except that its intentions were ambiguous. Kachihi could just see a smug smile plastered upon the being's face; even if it was wearing a mask. Upon even further inspection, this being's cloak was rather dusty, worn and torn. Their features indicated that they were clearly male- no matter how slight the difference was between their body and a female's. The way that this man talked; the spiritual pressure that was radiating from their body...It was obvious now. This man was— "Nitsuku." Gunshin began to alter Fumiko's physical form now. His hair shortened and turned a bright silver, though the ears remained unmoved, and he sprouted a large, purple striped tail from his back. "You look...well, you look like crap." As Nitsuku gave Agito a cold aside glance, she crumbled to the ground. Like a puppet with its strings cut, she collapsed on her rear end. She couldn't speak well. If she moved her throat, the only thing that poured forth was red blood. The body weight on Agito's shoulders became even heavier. Nitsuku's golden eyes seemed to say, "I won't kill you", but they also continued, "...So please listen to what I have to say." His eyes glanced straight at Agito, their slitted pupils burning into her memory. ...So strongly they might burn her brain. Agito's forehead was burning. Slowly, the young girl rose to her feet, grabbing Kachihi's Zanpakutō. It seemed as if Nitsuku treated the rest of them sans Agito as mere flies; until he declared, "...I shall not harm any of you. I am merely here for Agito." Gunshin sighed. "You see, comrade, therein lies the rub. While it's honestly no concern of mine what you do with the girl, it does seem to be their concern. So, I'm going to lend my aid. " He wrapped his tail around himself, pointing it at Nitsuku. "Besides, when in any of our past battles have you landed significant harm on me, Nitsuku?" Without any hesitation, Nitsuku spun around, smashing his blade into Gunshin's side. The wickedly curved sword sliced into Gunshin's flesh as if it was tofu. The sound of Gunshin's thigh bone being fractured resounded throughout the air, before a hard footstep cracked through the air. Nitsuku's figure rushed forth with a gust of wind, slashing at his foe wildly. "...I do remember, that I am only bested by that devil woman. Therefore, I am the second strongest of our kind." Nitsuki himself suddenly went flying, crashing into tree after tree after tree, Gunshin having appeared next to him in his attack, the blade wound beginning to regenerate. "Of course you were bested by Nika. Every one is, that goes without saying. However, second strongest our kind? By the time we're finished here, that title will go to me. Of course, by that time, there will only be two of our kind left." He swung his hand, sending large blast of spiraling spiritual energy towards the flying Nitsuku, destroying the ground as it went. Nitsuku stood to his feet, raising his sword. Leaping into the air, Nitsuku uttered, "Wolf…" As the hilt of his blade emitted a surge of purple reishi, which spiraled up the length of the blade, coating it in a truly immense amount of spiritual energy. "Fang…" Gritting his teeth, Nitsuku bared his sharp incisors, and his pupils contracted, giving him an almost demonic visage. The purple reishi upon his sword condensed itself to its utmost limit. Howling, "BUSTER!!" Nitsuku swung the blade forward, releasing all the reishi stored upon his sword in a single blow, solidifying and shaping itself in the form of a fang shaped wave of spiritual energy that aimed to tear Gunshin in half. The Wolf Fang Buster tore through the air, cutting through the very essence of Rukongai itself. Gunshin raised his arm into the air, and thunderclouds descended, swirling around it. He melded his own energy with it, creating a funneling energy cloud around his arm, strikes of lightning shooting out from it and blasting holes into the land, trees and sky. "Fall to the God of War! HEKIREKI!" These two are in the wrong fanon. Gunshin thrust his arm forward, releasing the massive energy wave with a crack like thunder, and they collided with great force. Nitsuku was thrown back by the force of such a blow, his body flailing along the ground. Thrusting his blade into the ground, the Wolf Tenjōgekido stood to his feet, seemingly unfazed. He gritted his teeth, before shooting forward like a speeding bullet as the hilt of his blade emitted a surge of purple reishi, which spiraled up the length of the blade, coating it in a truly immense amount of spiritual energy. Keeping Wolf Fang Buster upon his weapon, Nitsuku unleashed a fearsome barrage of six strikes at Gunshin with the intent to destroy him. Gunshin blocked each and every blow with his arm only, parring with it like it was a blade. The force of the colliding blade and limb caused craters under both their feet, and sonic booms now cracked throughout as they moved higher and faster into the air. Sure this isn't some other series? "I am curious, Nitsuku. Why are you here? Have you perhaps grown attached to your host?" Nitsuku snarled, "...Che. Do not be so preposterous." His words were as sharp as a blade; though it was easy to tell that somewhere deep down, he still held affection for his 'partner'. "...I am merely here to reclaim what is mine. So, have at thee. Or in modern terms, come at me, bro." "You have the most twisted sense of ownership I've ever seen." Gunshin replied, making a move and batting away Nitsuku's blade, sending his fist into the Wolf Tenjōgekido's gut, causing him to spiral downwards. "From what I've seen in my partner's memories, the girl belongs to the woman with the flaming red hair. Though I could have sworn these people have laws against that." He added as an afterthought. "Whatever." Nitsuku responded, as he rose to his feet effortlessly without warning, in a similar manner to a marrionette with its strings cut. The Wolf Tenjōgekido manifested a second blade, before he shot at Gunshin with a sonic boom, slashing at his foe wildly without remorse. Gunshin did the simplest thing he could do in if someone used two blades. Use his other arm. Mimicking Nitsuku's movements completely, arm vs blade clashed, craters no longer forming due to how deep the holes in the ground were from the sheer force. With the next few clashes, it seemed like the sky was beginning to tear. "Where does our win loss record stand anyway? 1,000;1,000 right? Care to make it 1001;1000?" Nitsuku remained silent as ever, as he focused spiritual energy upon his blades, unleashing a powerful torrent of desire-negating spiritual energy at his foe at high speeds- the ferocity of which threatened to tear the surroundings apart. "Heh...If I recall, I was far ahead of you. Curiosity killed the cat, as they say." "Ahh, that." Gunshin sighed, waiting for the energy to just reach him before vanishing, appearing behind Nitsuku, slamming his knee into his back. "Wouldn't you say wolves are more curious? With their habit of howling to the heavens, I would assume they wish to know what is beyond their grasp, to sink their fangs into that which is unobtainable." He coated his arm in reiatsu, shaping them into cat's claws, ready to cleave Nitsuku in half. "However, there are times when the wolf sees the moon is closer, and makes a wide leap, only to drown, never having known it was seeing only the moon's reflection in the water." He swung. Nitsuku felt no pain from such a blow, only swinging around to deflect Gunshin's claws. The Wolf Tenjōgekido prepared to end the battle in a single stroke, swinging down fast and hard upon Gunshin with tremendous force- powerful enough to tear through the air itself. Before the blow could touch him, however; Agito Kishima had caught his sword with her bare hands- a green spiritual energy was running up her arms as her eyes turned an icy blue. Gunshin's eyes widened in mild surprise. "Ahh. The wolf pup bares her fangs. Shall I leave this to you?" Spirals ignited in Agito's eyes; swirling around at high speeds, before her spiritual energy engulfed her body, shooting into the sky as a pillar of light. A powerful force swelled forth inside of her body, expanding to cover her entirety as she clutched her head. For once, the unbearable pain which coursed through her remained absent; Agito Kishima remained in control of such a transformation. The spiritual energy hardened and solidified, forming glistening golden armour which covered her arms, legs, hips, and upper chest area. The rest of the spiritual energy became skin-tight latex, as she aged up to twenty-one years old. Spiritual energy expanded in her hands, becoming an exquisite lance that was twice the size of her body. Four glistening griffin wings materialized upon her back, as she floated back down to earth, pointing her weapon at Nitsuku, who scoffed, "…Hmph. So this is the true you? How can you be so sure of such a thing—" Agito shut him up, echoing, "Shut up. I'm me. Nobody else. I don't care if I'm a monster; hell, I don't care what happens. I'm me, and I don't care if I'm a monster because of these powers, as long as I can use them to love Sayaka." Her spiritual energy flared up, as her signature had shifted from the wolf to the griffin. "Now, let's go." Gunshin descended to the ground, looking up at the battle in the air. He yawned, much like a cat who had just woken up. "I suppose we'll wait and see how this plays out." Agito's eyes sharpened, before shooting towards Nitsuku at the speed of sound with a sonic boom. Her foe was prepared; as he uttered, "Wolf…" As the hilt of his blade emitted a surge of purple reishi, which spiraled up the length of the blade, coating it in a truly immense amount of spiritual energy. "Fang…" Gritting his teeth, Nitsuku bared his sharp incisors, and his pupils contracted, giving him an almost demonic visage. The purple reishi upon his sword condensed itself to its utmost limit. Howling, "BUSTER!!" Nitsuku swung the blade forward, releasing all the reishi stored upon his sword in a single blow, solidifying and shaping itself in the form of a fang shaped wave of spiritual energy that aimed to tear Agito in half. The Wolf Fang Buster tore through the air, cutting through the very essence of Rukongai itself. Agito's lips curled; as golden spiritual energy charged upon her lance, amassing and converging via kinetic acceleration. Overflowing with spiritual energy, Agito aimed straight for Nitsuku's face, declaring, "Lucifer's Hammer!" Swinging down, the young woman expelled all of the spiritual energy in a concertrated explosion which managed to send Nitsuku's body careening across the ground, tearing up the asphalt. "They're a bit too creative with attack names." Gunshin noted, sounding incredibly bored. "I'm almost hoping Nika shows up now, just to give me something to do." Dodging attack after attack of Nitsuku's, Agito rushed in for the kill, as golden spiritual energy charged upon her lance, amassing and converging via kinetic acceleration. Overflowing with spiritual energy, Agito aimed straight for Nitsuku's face, declaring, "Lucifer's Hammer!" Swinging down, the young woman expelled all of the spiritual energy in a concertrated explosion, which destroyed the Wolf Tenjōgekido for good. "Oh. He's gone." Gunshin looked on without much care. "I almost feel bad. Normally, I am content to blow up or have blown up whatever is in my way, but with him, I'd grown kind of attached." Agito regressed back to her normal form, as Sayaka caught up to her, embracing her tightly- overjoyed that she was finally able to move on. Dinner was big that night, Fumiko and Yuuki had worked in the kitchen together to make a spectacular feast for everyone, since the troubles were over for awhile. As usual, Kasumi was sitting closer to Rika than everyone else, and was truly digging into the dinner. "Good thing we made so much." Fumiko sweatdropped, watching at Kasumi go at it. "I think he's going to eat us out of house and home soon." "Not before he devours the house~" A cacaphonic laugh resounded throughout the air- that devil woman boomed. Kachihi applied his palm to his forehead in exasperation, sighing, "...It's not bound to happen. Really." Gunshin's own chuckle echoed throughout the air with Nika's laugh. Kachihi and Fumiko were a cursed lot. "You know what?" Fumiko turned to Sayaka and Agito, grinning mischievously. "Sayaka, Agito-chan, you should let us plan your wedding! Agito-chan in a little wedding dress, Sayaka in a white suit...I can see it now..." He trailed off, a content glazed look on his face. Sayaka froze up at such a notion, stuttering, "W-What...!?" Her eyes sharpened, as she snapped, "S-Stay out of our business, got that!?" She haughtily crossed her arms in anger, as Agito couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle. "Awwww c'mon..." Fumiko said, sounding dejected. "We're friends, right? I just wanna help give you guys a really good sendoff. You're gonna be leaving soon, why not let us throw you a wedding before you leave?" Sayaka sighed; resigned to her fate. "...Che. Whatever, then." Agito noted to herself, "...Why is she so defensive of such things? Hehehehe." Sayaka gave Agito an aside glance, retorting, "I can read minds, you know." Since when? Rika, who had been mainly paying attention to Kasumi, felt a nudge in inside him. His eyes widened. It happened again. "Um...Kachihi...I think I felt something move inside me." He sounded nervous. Kachihi's eyes widened in aboslute shock, as Nika chimed, "Somebody's got a bun in the oven~" Kachihi didn't know how to react, really, before his jaw dropped as he exclaimed "W-WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?"
