  • Power Blow
  • This move allows the fighter to perform a unique attack that can be charged up then unleash a slow-motion cinematic combo that ends with the fighter “aiming” where they would like to launch their opponent, including Danger Zones. The way Power Blows are performed will differ from person to person. For example, Hayate performs a Power Blow involving high-speed close-combat attacks, Ryu Hayabusa shoots a burst of Ninpo magic into his victim and Akira Yuki performs his signature attack, a powerful elbow strike that sends his victim flying.

Since the game's official release, Power Blows have become character specific commands and can only be used if your health is at or below 50%. A player can also perform a Tag Power Blow: when both Tag Team characters have 50% or below health (provided that they haven't already used their Power Blow or Power Launcher), during the "aiming" phase, the player can cancel the final blow, and allow their partner to unleash their Power Blow.
