She is one of the first rangers to learn about the new Zodiac Power Rangers and reunited with all her fellow rangers of old to try and find them before the Global Army does and brings them in for questioning and also to control them as they please. During the First Malastarian War, Kat is fighting alongside her fellow Zeo Rangers but joins with the Mighty Morphin alongside Adam, and told them about the fates of Tanya, Rocky and Justin. She was completely heartbroken at the death of her husband. After the war ended, she retired to raise her son Eric (who will appear in the sequel) as she returned to her homeland of Australia. Five years later, Kat returns to Angel Grove as she learns about the new team of Power Rangers that appeared. She is most welcoming of the team and from them she learns that Fyrus will return. When Deathowl is killed, Kat is seen glad that Beverly and Yumi defeated the bloodthirsty assassin. However, Fyrus had arrived and began his all-out assault on Earth. Kat fought alongside Kimberly and Maria in the defense of Angel Grove and vowed to avenge the death of her husband. She fought against Onox teaming up with her old friends, while the Zodiac Rangers dealt with the Emperor himself. After their triumphant victory, Kat was very proud of the new team and returned home to Australia afterwards. She shall return in the sequel and Giancarlos has confirmed that she will fight again, but without her powers like the other rangers of old.
