- The Lost World is an upcoming 2016 action adventure film scheduled for release on May 20th, 2016.
- After climbing to the top of the End of the World, a machine located on the top picks up Sue and drops her on the other side. Justin and Feena are soon to follow, landing in a place known as the Valley of the Flying Dragon. Justin soon finds Feena, but discovers that Sue is missing. After finding a missing shoe and a rather incriminating cauldron of stew boiling, Justin pieces together what he believes to be the turn of events: the man who made the stew must have eaten Sue. Justin engages the man, Gadwin, in battle. He loses, and is informed that Sue was never actually eaten. After laughing things off with Gadwin, the party begins their journey into the Lost World.
- The Lost World is a novel written by Michael Crichton. Its title was based off the novel of the same name by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It is the sequel to Jurassic Park, and it has the distinction of being the only sequel Crichton ever wrote.

Malone is keen to join the professor on an expedition to the plateau. They are accompanied by the adventurer Lord John Roxton and Professor Summerlee, a scientist
- Having achieved ingress Sonic drops onto the Floating Island's surface - but now the shield is beginning to fail and as it flickers and fluctuates, water begins cascading down with Sonic. Conscious of how there's now a time-limit to the operation before the shield collapses entirely and crushes the island with the influx of millions of tons of water, Sonic rushes through the steadily-flooding Hidden Palace, seeking the Emerald Chamber - but he has to evade Guardian Robots that identify him as a threat and an intruder, and when he finally gets to the Emerald Chamber, the lack of a radio to get control directions from Porker leaves Sonic at a loss as to how he's supposed to raise the Island...

Dayark as history tells us was the old homeworld of the former Kathol Republic before it fell into decay and eventual collapse. During excavations on the planet by a special construction team data records were found in the city of Rytal Prime, the last surviving city on the moon. These data records contained the location within the sector that had not been known to the Republic." "Galactic Services Corporation analysts worked alongside Imperial historians on Coruscant in which hints to a possible system had been discovered and it was not until a reconnaissance unit, led by Commander 'Fuzzy' Tenrub Fra'Taya, of the Galactic Services Corporation was sent to the location that the system that the lost system of Cathar Prime was discovered." "Cathar Prime home to the newly discovered species known as the Cathar; a feline sentient race is set to become new members of the Republic after the Galactic Services Corporation acted as a medium between the newly appointed Vice President; Jake Kiltar and delegates from the Cathar homeworld. After a few days of negotiations the Cathar decided to allow the Kathol Republic to maintain administrative control over the planet and to develop it into a new capital of the sector." Back at the Underwater City, Porker monitors the declining condition of the Floating Island with increasing anxiety - there's literally only minutes before the Floating Island is completely flooded. At this, Ebony intervenes with a bold proposal - a portion of The Power could be sent down to the Floating Island, warping Sonic into Super Sonic and giving him the werewithal to complete his task. Porker is apprehensive about the prospect of bringing Super Sonic back into being, but Ebony is insistent, fixating on Sonic's earlier musing on feeling a "peaceful presence" when last in proximity to the Power and certain that that means that it will be the pacifistic Super Sonic that comes to be. Understanding that Sonic is dead anyway without this recourse, Porker reluctantly conedes to Ebony, with misgivings. Sonic is shocked when the transmitted Chaos Energy from the Power suddenly sunbursts in the Emerald Chamber - and as Sonic is thrown back, Tikal materialises, thrown out of him! Sonic writhes on the ground, twisting on the threshold of transformation as Chaos Energy wracks through him. He is shocked to see Tikal's arrival, and Tikal explains that during the Great War, when Chaos was defeated Tikal came to be imprisoned with it. During Sonic's earlier battles with the terrifying beast, Tikal transferred her spirit from Chaos into Sonic, causing her incarnation with the burst of Chaos Energy here... and making her, and not Super Sonic, the source of that "peaceful presence"! This revelation makes the current situation especially dangerous. Sonic's highly-strung enough as it is, and the slightest mote of agitation will knock him over into the monstrous Super Sonic - and the Guardian Robots are closing in for the kill...

It is also inhabited by a tribe of people called the Accala who are at war with a tribe of ape-men. The explorers help the Accala to fight against and defeat the cruel ape-men. The novel was adapted for the cinema in 1925, 1960, 1992, 1998 and 2001. It was adapted as a BBC TV movie in 2001. The Lost World also provided the inspiration for a syndicated TV series which ran between 1999 and 2002 and has been adapted as a radio play numerous times.
