Barquin reisde naar Tatooine in de hoop om zijn broer te kunnen inlijven om een nieuwe compositie te spelen en op te nemen. Hij hoopte dat dit nummer zijn doorbraak zou kunnen betekenen met de toevoeging van Figrins kwaliteiten als muzikant. Helaas waren de Modal Nodes niet vrij om het nummer op te nemen en was Barquin gestrand op Mos Eisley nadat hij met zijn laatste Credits naar Tatooine was gereisd. thumb|left|250px|Doda Bodonawieedo & Barquin D'an Om extra geld te verdienen sloot Barquin zich tijdelijk aan bij de Max Rebo Band die in Jabba's Palace speelde. Barquin speelde er Kloo Horn tijdens enkele optredens, waaronder Jedi Rocks. Nadat hij zag hoe Oola zomaar werd gedood door Jabba, besloot Barquin om zo snel mogelijk te ontkomen aan Jabba. Barquin D'an vertrok na de Battle of Carkoon richting Mos Eisley en vluchtte naar Stenos waar hij de muziekindustrie verliet en een succesvolle import/exportzaak opstartte.
