| abstract | - Rocky, Adam, and Aisha were captured by Lord Zedd and Goldar. Lord Zedd and Goldar then brought them to Lord Zedd's palace on the moon. Lord Zedd then turned Rocky, Adam, and Aisha evil. Rocky, Adam, and Aisha were converted into Zedd's Dark Rangers. Lord Zedd ordered his new Dark Rangers to destroy the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The Dark Rangers were given three Zords by Lord Zedd to help them in their mission to destroy the Power Rangers. The three Dark Zords could combine to form the Dark Knight Megazord. The Dark Rangers left Lord Zedd's palace and returned to Earth. The Dark Rangers decided to use their Dark Zords to attack Angel Grove. The Dark Rangers summoned their Dark Zords. The Dark Rangers teleported to the cockpits of their Dark Zords! Rocky, the Red Dark Ranger and the leader of the Dark Rangers, said "Initiate Dark Knight Megazord sequence!" The three Dark Zords combined into the Dark Knight Megazord! The Dark Rangers said "Dark Knight Megazord, power up!" The Dark Knight Megazord then took out its Dark Knight Megazord Saber and began to attack Angel Grove. The alarms went off in the Command Center. Alpha 5 said "Ay! Yi! Yi! Yi! Yi! Zordon! Lord Zedd's Dark Rangers are attacking Angel Grove!" Zordon said "I know, Alpha! We knew that it would only be a matter of time before Lord Zedd created his Dark Rangers." Alpha 5 said "What are we going to do?" Zordon said "Contact the Power Rangers at once!" Alpha 5 said "Right away, Zordon!" Alpha 5 contacted the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Tommy, the White Ranger, said "What is it, Zordon?" Zordon said "Power Rangers, Lord Zedd's Dark Rangers are attacking Angel Grove! You must stop them!" Tommy said "Right, Zordon!" Tommy then said "It's Morphin Time!" Tommy, Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kimberly morphed into the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! The Power Rangers teleported to Angel Grove! Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kimberly summoned their Thunderzords! The Thunderzords arrived on the scene! Tommy summoned the White Tigerzord! The Tigerzord also arrived on the scene! All 6 Power Rangers teleported to their cockpits! The Thunderzords combined into the mighty Thunder Megazord! Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kimberly said "Thunder Megazord, power up!" Tommy said "Tigerzord, convert to Warrior Mode, now!" The White Tigerzord converted to Warrior Mode! The Thunder Megazord and the White Tigerzord in Warrior Mode confronted the Dark Knight Megazord! Aisha, the Yellow Dark Ranger, said "Rocky, the Power Rangers are here!" Rocky said "It's about time they showed up!" Adam, the Blue Dark Ranger, said "Let's get them!" The Dark Knight Megazord charged at the Thunder Megazord and the White Tigerzord! A battle began! The Thunder Megazord and the White Tigerzord battled the Dark Knight Megazord! The Thunder Megazord and the White Tigerzord defeated the Dark Knight Megazord and forced it to retreat! Lord Zedd was furious at the Dark Rangers for their failure. He harshly reprimanded the Dark Rangers. The Red Dark Ranger said "Give us another chance, Lord Zedd!" Lord Zedd said "Patience, Red Dark Ranger, you will get another chance!" At the Command Center, Zordon was talking to the Power Rangers! He said "Power Rangers, I know that this is a tough time for all of you! The Dark Rangers are very powerful!" The Power Rangers knew that they needed help in their battle against Zedd's Dark Rangers! Suddenly, the White Ranger had an idea! They could bring back the Green Ranger! Zordon searched for a candidate to become the Green Ranger! He found the candidate that he was looking for! The candidate to become the Green Ranger was a young man named John! John teleported to the Command Center! Zordon introduced himself to John! Zordon then introduced John to Tommy, Zack, Jason, Trini, Kimberly, and Billy! Then Zordon gave John a Power Morpher with the Dragon Power Coin! Zordon then told John to morph into the Green Ranger! John then said "It's Morphin Time!" John morphed into the Green Ranger! The Green Ranger was back! Zordon said "John, you are honorable and brave! You will command the Dragonzord!" John said "Thank you, Zordon!" The Power Rangers welcomed John into the team! Zordon said "Power Rangers, I have modified the Dragonzord to combine with the other Zords!" The seven Power Rangers then observed the Viewing Globe! Zordon continued "When the Dragonzord combines with the Lion, Unicorn, and Griffin Thunderzords, they will become the Thunder Dragon Battlezord! When the Dragonzord combines with the Tigerzord, they will become the White Tiger Dragonzord!" Zack said "Awesome!" Billy said "This is definitely Morphinominal!" Jason said "The Dark Rangers don't stand a chance now!" Suddenly, the alarms went off in the Command Center. Alpha 5 said "Ay! Yi! Yi! Yi! Yi! Zordon! The Dark Knight Megazord is back!" Zordon said "Power Rangers, you must stop the Dark Rangers!" Tommy said "Back to action!" The Power Rangers went back to action and teleported back to Angel Grove! Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kimberly summoned their Thunderzords! The Thunderzords arrived on the scene! Tommy summoned the White Tigerzord! The Tigerzord also arrived on the scene! All 6 Power Rangers teleported to their cockpits! The Thunderzords combined into the mighty Thunder Megazord! Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kimberly said "Thunder Megazord, power up!" Tommy said "Tigerzord, convert to Warrior Mode, now!" The White Tigerzord converted to Warrior Mode! John pulled out his Dragon Dagger and said "I need Dragonzord power!" Then he played the Dragonzord summoning tune! The Dragonzord arose from the sea and rushed over to join the Thunder Megazord and the White Tigerzord! The Thunder Megazord, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord confronted the Dark Knight Megazord! The Red Dark Ranger said "Prepare to be destroyed, Power Rangers!" The Dark Knight Megazord took out its Dark Knight Megazord Saber and charged toward the three Zords! A battle began! The Thunder Megazord, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord battled the Dark Knight Megazord! John said "Initiate Thunder Dragon Battlezord sequence!" The Dragonzord combined with the Lion, Griffin, and Unicorn Thunderzords and together they formed the powerful Thunder Dragon Battlezord! Assisted by the Red Dragon Thunderzord and the White Tigerzord, the Thunder Dragon Battlezord defeated the Dark Knight Megazord and forced it to retreat! Lord Zedd was furious at the Dark Rangers for failing him again! He harshly reprimanded them! The Red Dark Ranger said "My lord, with all due respect, the Power Rangers have now become more stronger! They have added a new Ranger!" Lord Zedd said "Yes, Red Dark Ranger! I know! It is the Green Ranger!" The Red Dark Ranger nodded! The Red Dark Ranger then said "Give us another chance, Lord Zedd!" Lord Zedd said "Patience, Red Dark Ranger, you will get another chance!" Back at the Command Center, Zordon praised the Power Rangers for their victory! He then said "John, now that you are part of the Power Ranger team, you must follow three basic rules or lose the protection of the power! First: never use your power for personal gain, Second: never escalate a battle unless you are forced to do so, and, finally, keep your identity a secret! No one may know that you are a Power Ranger!" John promised to obey the Rangers's three main rules! Billy presented John with a communicator! Then Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, Kimberly, Tommy, and John huddled up for a Power Ranger high-five! On Lord Zedd's fortress on the moon, at Goldar's suggestion, Lord Zedd decided to put his Dark Rangers (Rocky, Adam and Aisha) through a test! If they could defeat an army of Z-Putties using only their natural karate skills, they would be given the Crystal of Darkness, a legendary crystal which the Forces of Evil used on Zordon's Rangers 10,000 years ago! Zedd wanted to give the Dark Rangers this crystal because, as Goldar explained, it would allow Zedd to maintain control of Rocky, Adam, and Aisha forever, provided that the crystal was not destroyed! The only one who knew of the crystal's power was Zordon! Lord Zedd and Goldar went down to Earth together to watch Rocky, Adam, and Aisha battle the Z-Putties! Rocky, Adam, and Aisha soundly defeated the Z-Putties, exceeding the expectations of Lord Zedd and Goldar, and were rewarded with the Crystal of Darkness! Lord Zedd then sent the Dark Rangers to destroy the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! The Dark Rangers summoned their Dark Zords and combined them to form the Dark Knight Megazord! The Crystal of Darkness landed in the Dark Knight Megazord's left hand and formed a powerful cannon! The Dark Knight Megazord took out its Dark Knight Megazord Saber! The Dark Knight Megazord Saber was in the Dark Knight Megazord's right hand! The Dark Knight Megazord attacked Angel Grove! The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were summoned by Zordon to battle the Dark Rangers! The 7 Power Rangers morphed into action and summoned the Thunderzords, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord! The Thunderzords combined into the Thunder Megazord! The Tigerzord converted into Warrior Mode! The Dark Knight Megazord saw the Thunder Megazord, Dragonzord, and White Tigerzord! The Dark Knight Megazord fired its cannon at the Thunder Megazord, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord! Then the Dark Knight Megazord charged at the 3 Zords! A battle began! The Thunder Megazord, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord battled the Dark Knight Megazord! The White Tigerzord and the Dragonzord combined to become the White Tiger Dragonzord! Assisted by the Thunder Megazord, the White Tiger Dragonzord defeated the Dark Knight Megazord and forced it to retreat! Lord Zedd was enraged that the Power Rangers had defeated him again! Back at the Command Center, Zordon praised the Power Rangers for their victory! He then told the Power Rangers that he has discovered who Zedd's Dark Rangers were. Alpha 5 then activated the Viewing Globe! The Power Rangers looked into the Viewing Globe and reacted in utter disbelief when they learned that the Dark Rangers were Rocky, Adam, and Aisha! Upon realizing that Rocky, Adam, and Aisha were Zedd's Dark Rangers, the Power Rangers were in shock and denial, but once they faced the facts, they immediately began planning to save Rocky, Adam, and Aisha from Zedd's power! Meanwhile, Lord Zedd decided to create 7 Mutant Rangers to assist his Dark Rangers! He had Goldar bring out 7 Mutant Morphers for 7 Z-Putties to wear! Goldar brought out the 7 Mutant Morphers for the 7 Z-Putties who were chosen to become the Mutant Rangers! The 7 Z-Putties then used the Mutant Morphers to morph into the White, Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, Pink, and Green Mutant Rangers! Now Zedd had 10 Rangers! 3 of them were his Dark Rangers and 7 were his Mutant Rangers! Lord Zedd then sent Goldar, the Mutant Rangers, and the Dark Rangers to Angel Grove to destroy the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were summoned by Zordon to the Command Center! Zordon told the Power Rangers that Goldar, the Mutant Rangers, and the Dark Rangers were attacking Angel Grove! He also told the Rangers that they had to stop Goldar, the Mutant Rangers, and the Dark Rangers! Zordon also told the Rangers that they had to destroy the Crystal of Darkness to break Lord Zedd's grip on Rocky, Adam, and Aisha's minds! The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers morphed into action and teleported to Angel Grove! The Power Rangers then battled Goldar, the Mutant Rangers, and the Dark Rangers! The Power Rangers defeated Goldar, the Mutant Rangers, and the Dark Rangers! Then Lord Zedd used 8 grow bombs to make Goldar and the Mutant Rangers grow! Goldar and the Mutant Rangers grew to giant size! The Dark Rangers summoned their Dark Zords and combined them into the Dark Knight Megazord! The Power Rangers summoned the Thunderzords, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord! The Thunderzords combined into the Thunder Megazord! The White Tigerzord converted into Warrior Mode! The Dark Knight Megazord, the Mutant Rangers, and Goldar saw the White Tigerzord, Thunder Megazord, and Dragonzord! The Dark Knight Megazord took out its Dark Knight Megazord Saber! Goldar, the Mutant Rangers, and the Dark Knight Megazord charged at the three Zords! A battle began! The Thunder Megazord, Dragonzord, and White Tigerzord battled the Dark Knight Megazord, the Mutant Rangers, and Goldar! The White Tigerzord, Dragonzord, and Thunder Megazord defeated Goldar and forced him to retreat! Then the Thunder Megazord, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord defeated the Mutant Rangers and destroyed them all! Then the Thunder Megazord, White Tigerzord, and Dragonzord defeated the Dark Knight Megazord and disabled it! Then the Power Rangers leaped out of their Zords! The Dark Rangers did the same! An epic battle began between the Power Rangers and the Dark Rangers! The Dark Rangers used the Crystal of Darkness to create a powerful Power Cannon! The Dark Rangers fired their Power Cannon at the Power Rangers! The Black Ranger said "Come on, guys! We can't give up! We're the Power Rangers!" The Red, Blue, Black, Pink and Yellow Power Rangers combined their Power Weapons to form the Power Blaster and aimed the Power Blaster at the Dark Rangers's Power Cannon! White Ranger aimed Saba at the Dark Rangers's Power Cannon! The Green Ranger aimed his Dragon Dagger at the Dark Rangers's Power Cannon! The Power Rangers fired on the Dark Rangers! The Dark Rangers were knocked to the ground! The Dark Rangers's Power Cannon was knocked out of their hands and transformed back into the Crystal of Darkness! White Ranger then aimed Saba at the Crystal of Darkness! He then fired on the Crystal of Darkness and destroyed it! Lord Zedd's spell was broken! Rocky, Adam, and Aisha involuntarily demorphed! The 7 Power Rangers demorphed! They then went over to Rocky, Adam, and Aisha! When Rocky, Adam, and Aisha woke up, they were remorseful over what they had done! But the 7 Power Rangers were quick to forgive them, taking into account that they were under Zedd's evil spell! Tommy then invited Rocky, Adam, and Aisha to join the Power Ranger team! Rocky, Adam, and Aisha were reluctant at first, but the 7 Power Rangers convinced Rocky, Adam, and Aisha that they belonged with them and that they could use their Dark Ranger powers against Lord Zedd! At that, Rocky, Adam, and Aisha agreed to join the team! Back at the Command Center, Zordon and Alpha 5 watched the fulfillment of a historic prophecy, that the Dark Rangers would fight for justice rather than evil! The 10 Rangers then morphed! Zordon then told the Power Rangers that the Dark Zords had been modified to combine with the White Tigerzord! When the Dark Zords combined with the White Tigerzord, they would become the powerful Dark Knight Mega Tigerzord! The Dark Zords combined with the White Tigerzord to become the Dark Knight Mega Tigerzord! The 10 Power Rangers thought that the Dark Knight Mega Tigerzord was awesome! Meanwhile, Lord Zedd was enraged that he lost the battle! Lord Zedd yelled at Goldar! He said "Goldar, you have once again snatched grim and bitter defeat out of the jaws of victory! Next time, the Power Rangers will not fare so well!" Zordon summoned the 10 Power Rangers back to the Command Center! He praised the 7 Power Rangers for their victory over Lord Zedd and his forces of evil! He then confirmed Rocky, Adam, and Aisha as the Red, Blue, and Yellow Dark Rangers and Rocky, Adam, and Aisha promised to obey the Power Rangers's three main rules! Billy presented Rocky, Adam, and Aisha with their own wrist-communicators! Then all 10 Power Rangers huddled up for a Power Ranger high-five!
