  • __NOEDITSECTION__ File:Nav bar left.png Guides and Tutorials File:Nav bar right.png __NOEDITSECTION__ This Wiki has the potential to be a great place for fans of the game to gather and to share information. The internet is big enough for everyone to have their opinions, and to share their opinions. Not everyone has to agree, but they do have to play by the same rules:
  • The Code of Conduct for the Site has undergone three major revisions. The First Code of Conduct was mainly written by Trivas with the editing help of Ryric and Rica. This Code was suitable for many years before changes necessitated the forming of the Second Code of Conduct. Kracor took the original Code and edited it to include the changes of the site. The Third Code of Conduct was mainly edited by Trivas to include the major addition of the Bank of the Sith. With the start of the War, a much more simplified version of the Code was created. The Fourth Code of Conduct, also edited by Trivas, allowed for a much simpler understanding to aide the flood of new Sith helping the cause. A more thorough book of rules, procedures, and traditions was separated from this Code.
  • "Code of Conduct" is an orchestral piece on the Season 3 soundtrack. It plays during the season finale.
  • Location Game Code of Conduct is an achievement/trophy in the expansion A Criminal Past for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It is awarded for completing the mission without killing anyone. This achievement is analogous to the Pacifist achievement for the main game.
  • If you violate the Code of Conduct, action(s) may be taken against your account. These action(s) may entail temporary bans, removal of content, suspension of accounts, and or warnings.
  • A code of conduct or code of behavior was a set of rules that governed one's actions. Vulcans had a code of behavior that they tried to honor at all times. Humans had one, too, but it was a work in progress, and, as of 2151, beginning to improve. (ENT: "Fight or Flight") Also that year, the Maquis Sakonna found the creation of the Rules of Acquisition, what she described as "a code of behavior for business transactions", to be both logical and reassuring, agreeing with Quark on the former. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part I")
  • The Code of Conduct (often abbreviated as CoC and sometimes called Rules of RuneScape) is part of the terms and conditions of playing RuneScape. When players make an account, they agree to be bound by the rules and to face punishment (i.e. a ban or a mute) if they do not abide by them. Jagex's Customer Support team may apply a variety of sanctions against rule breakers, up to a permanent account ban. Lesser offences may result in a warning, temporary ban, or a temporary or permanent mute.
  • 1) You agree that you are at least 15 years of age. 2) Soliciting TS (TinySex) is against the rules and may be grounds for removal from the game. "Soliciting TS" is defined as using OOC means to ask another player to RP a sexual encounter. TS is not against any policy here, but we ask that all scenes of this nature be Role-Played behind closed doors and not in any public location. Role-Playing TS with a minor (a player who is under the age of 18) will get you removed from the game.

3) You understand the game's consent policy. (see 'news CONSENT') This means that while your character is protected from random or unwarranted death, actions do have consequences. Especially in the case of those attempting to abuse or "game" the consent-to-death policy, ICA=ICC will be enforced, possibly resulting in loss of status, belongings, or even your character itself. 4) You understand that public areas in this game are given the ESRB rating of T (Teen). This is roughly equivalent of a MPAA rating of PG-13. The T (Teen) rating is for: violence, suggestive theme, crude humor, blood, and simulated gambling. The staff cannot cannot watch the actions of players all the time. Players may be exposed to sexually explicit topics or coarse language, especially in "private" areas of the MUSH. 5) Harassment will not be tolerated here. "Harassment" is defined as unwanted and persistent attention ranging from paging, OOC discussion, and attempts at IC contact that another player has OOCly requested cease. Harassment can take many forms: anger, sexual, guilt-tripping, +bboard-spamming, and "trolling" (inflammatory comments with the intent of disrupting scenes or as an attempt to get attention). If another player/administrator asks you to cease with a certain type of behavior, and you refuse to cease, then you are guilty of harassment. Continued or repeated harassment will result in discipline, which may include being revoking of speaking, paging, and/or movement priviledges ("gagging" and "jailing") to loss of character. 6) The administration reserves the right to discipline you as a player for actions deemed by staff as unacceptable. In most cases we will follow a "Three Strike" rule. On your third strike, you will either lose your character or be banned from the MUSH. The administration reserves the right to skip to "Strike Three" in cases of severe harassment, cheating, verbal assault, etc., where immediate action is needed to protect other players.

Humans had one, too, but it was a work in progress, and, as of 2151, beginning to improve. (ENT: "Fight or Flight") In 2151, when speculating about how Matthew Ryan might react towards the ship that attacked him, Travis Mayweather suggested he would destroy it. Jonathan Archer disagreed, saying that Humans' innate codes of behavior were the same whether they were Starfleet officers or space boomers, like Ryan, and revenge wasn't their driving force. (ENT: "Fortunate Son") The Dopterian Gorta had a personal code of conduct which prohibited sharing but allowed trading. In 2370, when marooned with Geordi La Forge and Data on Kalla III, he mentioned this fact when Data asked him to share information with them. La Forge questioned whether that same code affirmed that it was unwise to try to make a deal when there was no way of escaping the planet he was on, a point the Dopterian conceded. (TNG: "Firstborn" ) Also that year, the Maquis Sakonna found the creation of the Rules of Acquisition, what she described as "a code of behavior for business transactions", to be both logical and reassuring, agreeing with Quark on the former. Some sections of the rules are tailored and expanded upon to make them more suitable for the Forums. You can find more information about the Code of Conduct in RuneScape Forums. There are also specific rules tailored to each specific forum, called the "Forum Specific Rules", and they can be found by clicking on the link near the top of each forum. Keeping your account's offences to a minimum contributes to greater success at becoming a Player Moderator. If you feel that someone is violating one of the Rules of RuneScape, you can report the offending player using the "Report Abuse" button below the chatbox on the lower-right hand side. Note: These rules were copied from the RuneScape website, but we cannot guarantee that they are accurate or up-to-date. Therefore, the rules given here cannot be taken as definitive, only those listed on the RuneScape website can. It is individual players' responsibility to ensure that they abide by Jagex's current rules and policies at all times in the game, on the RuneScape Forums, and everywhere else. Jagex rules are also enforced on this wiki, and any user who posts information or advice on how to break rules may be blocked from editing.
