Luong was one of Greater Tukarali's most efficient chairmen since its founding and greatly improved the nation. Economic restrictions were lightened, giving some slight free market reforms for the Tukarese economy. The state religion, Kanzo, also continued to gain domination over the population. The Islamic minority grew during Luong's term as well and Muslims were granted greater religious freedom, though some regulations still existed. Luong also oversaw the signing of a friendship treaty with Sekowo, the first major interaction with a foreign nation in hundreds of years. After the end of the "Second Generation," Luong remained as President of Aikokusha, directing party policy and activities.
