  • The Taledarians are by far the most advanced race in the galaxy, if not the universe. They have communications with all races, and are respected by them all. The Taledarians are a peaceful race, but when they do go to war, they do it with unsurpassed fury. Most notably is the fate of the Kuntar Empire. The Kuntars made the mistake of attacking and destroying a Taledarian diplomacy ship in 1100 A.D. The Taledarians tried to negotiate, but the Kuntars killed the ambassador, a Senator. By 1164 A.D. the Kuntar Empire was no more. Their cities had been razed and their population decimated.

abstract
Taledarians resemble large beetles. Their chitinous hides are hard as steel, their claws are razorsharp and their tusks are poisonous. They stand heads and shoulders above humans. Taledarian technology is no different from that of other races, except that it has been adapted for use by the Taledarians rather than humanoids. Taledarian society is somewhat like that of ants. They live in great hives ruled by a Hive Queen. Each Hive Queen chooses one of her underlings as ambassador and senator of the hive. The senators are the supreme lawmakers of their race and rule the Taledarian empire from their homeplanet of Tal'en. Though the Taledarians are fully capable of conquering the entire galaxy, their love of peace and their lack of interest in galactic politics, have kept their empire small. It consists of 50 planets spread across the galaxy. The Taledarian empire are situated in the eastern part of the galaxy.
