Note that this doesn't mean it is hopeless in close quarters, it is just not as competitive as faster firing weapons. Overall, this weapon should be used as a stationary support weapon that can kill even long-range targets or scatter them to cover. It should not be used by a soldier who is intent on run-and-gun tactics, as other LMGs are better for this. This weapon shines as a defensive weapon that can suppress incoming opponents, not as an in-your-face LMG. Good locations for use are on top of buildings and behind cover at the rear of a battle.
