Authored by Trak Nar, the series began with the novella Breakfast in Bedlam, written in January of 2010, and continued with the short story The Devil You Know, written in May of 2011 for TheForce.Net's "Second Proverbs Challenge." As of January 2012, work had begun on a year-long diary project called Wasting the Day in Bedlam. The project will be released onto Star Wars Fanon upon its completion. In March of the same year, Nar wrote a short prequel vignette titled Changing of the Gand. It was written for the TheForce.Net's "Mod Challenge," with the topic of moving and change. One of the stipulations of the entries was that the word count was not to exceed 1,500 words.
