  • Ian Colin (born 16th May, 1910 in Rhodesia, died 1987) appeared on Coronation Street in June 1963, playing Arthur Forsythe-Jones, reprising the role in December of the same year in a recorded voice at Annie Walker's This Is Your Life presentation. His film career began in the early 1930s with many now-forgotten productions for British studios in Quota quickies. His earliest known radio credit was in 1945 in a dramatised performance of the trial of Charles I entitled The King's Tryall and he made his television debut in 1951 with The Mysterious Count, a production for children.
