| Synopsis | - When Aqualad takes ill and is taken to Atlantis to recuperate, Aquaman fills the gap by taking on a new partner, a girl Atlantean named Selena, whom he dubs “Aqua-Girl.” The new Aqua-Girl performs well as Aquaman’s ally, arousing the jealousy of Aqualad, who fears he will be permanently replaced, and the interest of Merlon, a male Atlantean whom Selena had a crush on but who couldn’t be bothered with her earlier. In the end, Merlon marries Selena, Aqualad heals and is accepted as Aquaman’s partner again, and Aquaman reveals to Aqualad that part of the plan was to make Merlon jealous enough of Aquaman that he would propose to Selena...which he did.
- At the unveiling of a new radio telescope created by the Apex Research Laboratory, Batman and Robin are on the scene as well as Clark Kent covering the story for the Daily Planet. When interviewing Professor Bowles, Clark's interview is interrupted by the arrival of Dr. Henry Gault, a former part of the project who was let go due to his obsession with the occult affecting his ability to do his job. Gault warns of occult forces that might be awoken should the telescope be used, Bowles dismisses this however, Clark Kent is still interested and gets a statement from Gault. Gault tells how on his travels around the world he found an ancient magic book by the ancient magician called Jazub, whom used his mystical might to banish supernatural creatures to the stars. He believes that the radio telescope might draw these creatures back to menace the Earth anew.
Sure enough three creatures appear and begin a rampage across the city. Batman, Robin and Superman go into action to try and each of the creatures. The first one is a creature that has a spectral form and Superman destroys upon learning of it's weakness to light by constructing a giant light bulb. Batman and Robin battle a crystalline creature who multiplies when they shatter it, however learning it is sensitive to sound, they shatter it by tolling a giant bell.
The third creature, a being comprised of wind escapes and Batman, Robin and Superman are led to Dr. Gault's house by Professor Bowles girlfriend Norah. Gault suggests that the only way to stop the creature is with Jazub's talisman which he claims is missing but a magic spell might suffice and goes to research the spell. When the three heroes go outside, they find that the creature is destroyed by Norah and Bowles' love for each other when the creature tries to threaten the couple.
As it turns out, the talisman is not lost, and Gault -- jealous of Bowles and attempting to win Norah's heart -- used it in conjunction with the radio telescope to bring these creatures to Earth. When he attempts to summon more creatures in the same way, he is confronted by what appears to be the creatures that he has summoned. However, when they do not listen to his commands, he realizes it's a trick and that the creatures are really Norah and Bowles in disguise. With the truth learned, Superman destroys the talisman and Gault is knocked out. The heroes then take Gault off to prison and remark how happy Bowles and Norah are together.
- When a giant drilling robot named Vulcan breaches the Arrow Cave and disappears, Green Arrow and Speedy follow the tunnel to it's origin. There they find a professor who was building the device for scientific purposes and had it stolen by criminals. As the device took pictures of them in their civilian identities, Green Arrow and Speedy race to stop the device, but are unable to catch it until the professor finishes his remote control device. Green Arrow and Speedy round up the crooks and take the film that reveals their true identities.
