| abstract | - Mario was one of the Giovanni in charge with family business in Rome. He was sent there from Venice to watch over his cousins Pietro and Ambrogino, who were rumored to have their own plans and to not really care about Giovanni business within the Eternal City. Mario was aware of his cousin Ambrogino Giovanni's obsession with occult artifacts and had no love left for it, particular for the reason that it would be him who would earn all the glory while his aides would remain obscure. Nevertheless, he occasionally aided him, like when he guided him towards the Black Monastery in 1666 when Ambrogino searched for the Sargon Fragment.
