The purpose of the consortium is to provide training and technical assistance to states and communities to develop viable and sustainable cybersecurity programs. This includes the development and delivery of cybersecurity training and cybersecurity exercises, and the use of competitions and workshops to encourage both interests in cybersecurity as well as consideration by individuals of cybersecurity as a career choice.
