  • Iko-Iko band www.iko-iko.com More than 30 years ago, Graham Wood Drout had the idea that bringing extremely diverse musicians together would create something new that was greater than the sum of its parts. Today; his songs & this band, IKO IKO, show that this formula is extremely effective for his signature sound. That sound blends Drout's roots in Texas, Brasil, New Jersey & Miami with those of his bandmates – described by The San Diego Tribune as "an eclectic mix of southern musical traditions" – creating a backbeat–driven powerhouse of Blues, Rock, and Gulf Coast Americana to create what Drout describes as "Urban Swamp Blues." With performances in the films, Cape Fear and Contact as well as the original production of Jimmy Buffett's Don't Stop the Carnival, along with countless collaborations with some of music's legends (including Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters & many more), the band continues to deliver great shows and outstanding music Current band members: Graham Wood Drout Guitars & Vocals John “Good Rockin’ Johnny” Wenzel Lead Guitar Mitch Mestel Bass & Vocals Ron Taylor Keyboards Nicole “Nicky” Yarling Fiddle & Vocals Daniel East Drums
