  • Destroyer of his home planet, he set course to create a new planet by taking over one that already exists. He blew up a planet, in which the planet's Quantonium core (a meteorite) hurtled toward a planet in the Omega quadrant; the planet Earth. Awakened by his spaceship's computer, he was informed about the meteor's whereabouts, and sends a robot probe to retrieve it. Unfortunately, the probe was destroyed by a group of monsters, even the Quantonium's absorber (Susan Murphy). Enraged by this, he sets course for Earth himself, and vows to extract Susan of the Quantonium. Having arrived on Earth, he captures Susan while she was talking to her friends. Insectosaurus tried to save her, but Gallaxhar's phasoid cannon paralyzed and seemingly killed him. With Susan captured, he extracts her of the Quantonium, reducing her size from gigantic to regular-human-sized. Now with the Quantonium extacted, he uses it to clone himself. As the clones prepare for the takeover, the monsters rescue Susan, much to Gallaxhar's surprise. He orders his clones to attack the monsters; but the latters take out the formers. After his ship was set to self-destruct, he attempts to extract the remaining Quantonium into an escape pod, which he would also go into so he wouldn't explode with the ship. After an encounter with Susan, he tries to escape without the Quantonium she just absorbed to save her friends. After the monsters escape on a fully-revived Insectosaurus (who pupated into a butterfly-like creature), Gallaxhar's ship explodes. Whether he escaped or perished inside is clearly unknown.

He claimed to have suffered several traumatic experiences during his youth, which is the cause of him being driven to destroy his own civilization and proceed to rebuild it on another planet in his own image. Upon discovering Earth, he chose it as a suitable home. He was capable of breathing a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere of the exact composition of Earth, indicating that he would not likely need to "terraform" the planet to overtake it. He was obsessed with a mineral or element known as Quantonium, which he used to power his immense cloning facility. These clones as well as immense robot probe-transports are his main lines off offense, although his starship is also capable of a very powerful homing attack, and also utilizes a tractor beam technology, as is commonly seen in starships. Gallaxharian clones are apparently quite unobservant, as they do not notice monsters dressed up in their clothing minus one, whom they believe is simply a defective clone which they order to be incinerated and thereby disposed of. He and all known copies of himself were destroyed when his starship self-destructed, thanks to several of Earth's residential monsters hot-wiring the ship's power core. Because of this, his entire species is now presumably extinct.

This is enough for him to create an evil clone army of himself. After Dr. Cockroach destroys his computer by stepping on the color buttons in the correct order while dancing, the self destruct system sounds. He attempts to escape, but is once again forced into combat with Ginormica. She then gets her Quantonium back and escapes on Insectosaurus (who is now a butterfly). Gallaxhar tries to escape in an escape-pod, but fails and presumably dies in the explosion. He is voiced by Rainn Wilson. He was one of the few villains not to be resurrected by Simon West. Gallaxhar was briefly mentioned by Coverton in the first episode of the TV Series, Welcome to Area Fifty-Something
