It should be noted that the nature of this technique can be utilized to detonate naturally combustible materials. Nōsei has shown that this technique can be channeled into the ground via a sword in order to attack an opponent from below. In this variation of the technique lightning will surge up from underneath the target causing a moderate explosion that can both harm and paralyze foes. Furthermore this variation no longer require that user remain directly connected with their chakra, making it perfect for surprise assaults.
