Summary of Stephness: Vicki Vale, alone at the Gotham Gazette, receives a window visit from masked Spoiler, who claims that Vale is being dense. Spoiler has been through Vale's files, and knows she has all the pieces, but refuses to publish on Bard. Vale claims that Bard's not responsible for the whole plan, and ruining him wouldn't stop what's happening now. Spoiler mentions Signalman, who Vale dismisses, but Spoiler warns that ignoring Signalman is exactly the plan. Unfortunately, Cluemaster arrives in a chopper and snatches Spoiler with a grappling gun. Spoiler is whisked away, but leaves behind her flash drive for Vale.
