He played for the United States in the 2001 and 2002 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Globke turned pro in 2004-05 with the San Antonio Rampage and the Texas Wildcatters. The next season he saw some action with the Panthers but played most of the season with the Rochester Americans. This pattern was repeated in 2006-07 and 2007-08. In 2008-09 Globke went to Europeand joined the Frederikshavn Whitehawks in Denmark. The next season he went to play for the Krefeld Pinguine in Germany.
