Percy is left outside a betting shop whilst Jack enjoys himself inside. Percy approaches Ken about the Gazette writing an article about the lack of wheelchair access in the local area but Ken doesn't commit himself. Martin tells Sally Steph fancies Kevin and he's scared of her - fortunately she doesn't believe him. Jack blames Percy for dragging him so far afield but Percy puts Alec straight. Ken tells Wendy he feels stigmatised for being out of work. Steph cancels the party because the Websters won't be there but everyone persuades Kevin to change his mind. Steph hopes to shave off Kevin's moustache to win the bet.
