  • Weapon Use
rdfs:comment
  • Weapon Use (武器使, Buki-shi) was Mega Man's standard special move in Super Smash Flash 2. Mega Man used one of the five weapons chosen via Weapon Change: Mega Buster, Super Arm, Crash Bomb, Wheel Cutter or Black Hole Bomb. He starts the match with the Mega Buster by default. If Mega Man charged Mega Buster (in the start of match, without changing of weapon before), he could use midair jump. As of Beta, Weapon Change has been replaced by Water Wave, thus taking this move along with it. Mega Buster is now Mega Man's standard special move.
  • Primarily, the Fighter is the class that gains the most out of Weapon Use, as his focus is on combat, but all classes will face combat at one point or another, thus Weapon Use is a vital Skill for anyone. In Quest for Glory V, Offense is also factored into how well a Thief can use a Blackjack. A higher Offense will result in a successfully knocked-out enemy.

abstract
  • Primarily, the Fighter is the class that gains the most out of Weapon Use, as his focus is on combat, but all classes will face combat at one point or another, thus Weapon Use is a vital Skill for anyone. Weapon Use chiefly measures how much damage is done to the Hero's opponent, which also has Strength factored in. In the first three Quest for Glory games, it also determines the Hero's hit rate, as it is possible to miss monsters with a low Weapon Use. In Quest for Glory IV and Quest for Glory V, simply closing to striking distance and attacking will connect with the opponent, and hit rate is not factored in. In Quest for Glory V, Offense is also factored into how well a Thief can use a Blackjack. A higher Offense will result in a successfully knocked-out enemy.
