| abstract | - Charles Weidler is a former NASCAR driver from Williamsport, PA. He competed in seven Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Weidler's debut came in 1952, when he competed at Owego. It was a tough race for the driver, finishing 23rd in the twenty-six car field after an early engine failure. Overall, mechanical issues took his out of three of his five starts that year, allowing him to only crack the top-twenty twice - a 17th at Daytona and a 20th at Wilson. Weidler's final two starts came during the early 1953 season. He first competed at the prestigious Daytona Beach Road Course, lasting just a few laps before a crash relegated him to 47th. He fared little better in his final career start, showing 30th at Langhorne.
