  • The Sorel Black Hawks were a junior team based in Sorel, Quebec. They played in the Provincial Junior League from 1965-66 through 1968-69. They were preceeded by the Sorel Royals who played in the Metropolitan Montreal Junior League from 1958-59 through 1963-64 and then in the Provincial league in 1964-65. The Black Hawks were succeeded by the Sorel Éperviers who joined the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League when it was formed in 1969.

They were preceeded by the Sorel Royals who played in the Metropolitan Montreal Junior League from 1958-59 through 1963-64 and then in the Provincial league in 1964-65. The Black Hawks were succeeded by the Sorel Éperviers who joined the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League when it was formed in 1969. The Black Hawks won the Provincial league title and the Quebec junior championship in 1968-69 Quebec Junior Playoffs. They then lost the final in the 1968-69 Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs.
