abstract
  • Kingtonne (Kinglander: Uiithruk) is the principal capital, and most-populous city of the Kinglands. It is ruled by the King at Kingtonne, Oiaak Ohk, at Wite-Dome (from Kinglander: Sehths-Karal, literally "White Skull" - Sehths from Seks - see Kneypish cognate Seki - valiant, pure, etc., and Karal from Karalan, Garlenn, as in the origin of the Skullspear), the largest Great-Dome on this Earth. It is the center of the Faith of the King, which worships the King at Kingtonne in a manner not dissimilar to the Blue King of Sayerthenn. Oiaak Ohk has several priests, several of which are the Blood Children's. Kingtonne's principal religion is the Faith of the Nameless Child, who actively besiege Kingtonne in order to use it as the capital for a nation devoted to their faith. Kingtonne is sat on King Isle, a man-made Isle shaped to look like the profile of Oiaak Ohk's great-grand uncle, King Iaan Ohk. It is the second-largest human-made structure in all of Calthoss' Creation (until the construction of Huron's Walls), barely edged out by Bottomjaw Castle on that Earth. However, it has several times as many people as Bottomjaw Castle, and would likely be considered far more beautiful.
