It was announced at E3 2010 by EA that a Play Station 3 exclusive Special Edition would be released and will include a remastered version of 2002s Medal of Honor: Frontline. It is the first game in the Medal of Honor series to receive an 'M' (for mature) rating from the ESRB; all the previous installments have been rated 'T' for teen. It has a released sequel, Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
