| abstract | - The cat version of Robotnik first appeared in an April Fool's Day picture by Adamis. The artist produced the teaser under the pretense that Tom Huxley had written a new Brotherhood of Metallix. However, with feigned spelling difficulties, the actual result was the "Brotherhood of Meatllix", meaty robots designed by Robotnikat to kill Sonic the Hedgehog. Despite nobody really knowing what the cat was, Boomers enjoyed the idea. Robotnikat's first comic appearance was as one of nine Robotniks through time summoned by the Pirate Omni-Viewer to fight several versions of Sonic. The cat didn't put up much of a fight in the initial battle with present-day Sonic, preferring to lick his paw while the human Robotniks took control. When Reverse Robotnik took all of his kind and tracked Sonic, Robotnikat leapt into the fight, somehow recognising Bob Beaky as a disguise of Sonic and attacked him. As the truth started to unfold, Robotnikat watched proceedings from atop of Doctor Kintobor's head. He soon returned to his own time when the real Omni-Viewer fixed his own pirate copy. It was later revealed that the previous incarnation of Robotnikat was Reverse Robotnik. Blaze the Cat was involved in a battle with the villain when he launched a magic spell at her. Blaze was able to deflect the spell back at Reverse Robotnik, turning him into Robotnikat. In this new form, Robotnik attempted to adjust to life as a cat by trying to steal Flicky eggs. After this failed, Robotnikat discovered some chocolate Easter eggs but was unable to carry the basket they were in. A few moments later, he solved this problem by eating them all on the spot and sleeping in the basket. After a while, Robotnikat was able to create the Brotherhood of Meatllix, leading to the panel Robotnikat first appeared in. Some time later, Robotnikat was shown to somehow be working for Sonic the Comic. Whilst in the office one day, the cat ordered some eggs from Mobay but, when they were delivered, were placed on top of a high filing cabinet. In trying to reach them, Robotnikat toppled the cabinet and ruined some artwork.
