  • Once one of the most beautiful towns in Falena, Lordlake was a popular tourist destination in Falena, especially for the nobility. However, following a protest over a fortress, built by the Barows faction, that would lower the water around the town, the citizens of Lordlake were manipulated into forming a mob and looting the East Palace in what would become the Lordlake Incident. Queen Arshtat Falenas used the Sun Rune to punish the town, scorching the earth around Lordlake and executed Lord Rovere, the magistrate of the area, and his family. In addition, Hatred Fortress, built upstream by the Godwin faction, dammed up the Feitas before it could reach Lordlake, depriving them of water from 447 onwards. The town quickly became a pariah town, with many senators promoting restrictive measures be put on the area. Following this, most of Lordlake's citizens had little choice but to leave the area, leaving only the infirm and the stubborn in the city. Water would not be restored to Lordlake for two long years, when the Loyalist Army destroyed Hatred Fortress during the Falenan Civil War, finally bringing water back to Lordlake after two long years of suffering. As a sign of their gratitude, the town citizens joined the Prince's Army in his fight against the Godwins. After the war ended, Lordlake's citizens commenced rebuilding it, working hard to repair it and bring it back to its former glory.
