  • The M21-G1 Massiff-class Fighter was used by the forces of Zergal the Hutt. Following the success of its other Hutt-commissioned ships, MandalMotors was approached by Zergal the Hutt, who requested the commission of a new fighter to supplement the older designs that were still being purchased. Seeing this as an opportunity for a larger flow of credits to fund the Mandalorian war effort, MandalMotors CEO Karric Nayms assigned a team to draft up schematics for the snub fighter. Following the overwhelming success of the G1-M4-C Dunelizard, MandalMotors got to work on a major redesign of the craft for the specifications that the Hutts pitched, resulting in a ship that could be considered the Dunelizard's successor, if it were not for the difference in appearance and capabilities.

abstract
MandalMotors took great care into the designs of the ship's schematics. Knowing that, if they won the bid for the fighter against its competitors, the Hutts would purchase this fighter in great volumes, they put to the test all of their available techniques. Following the successful design of the Kyr'bes-class X-wing, MandalMotors put in five custom MandalMotors/Incom 4j.4 fusial thrust engines to provide for the ship's high performance. J-14 starship armor made up the composition of the hull, providing more than adequate protection during combat engagements. The ship was designed to provide adequate cargo space to allow the pilot to spend two standard weeks without needing to restock supplies, allowing for long-term engagements without sacrificing much on power capacity. The cockpit of the ship was equipped with full life support, including an emergency life support system, allowing for solo operations of up to eighteen hours. Both systems were fully operational, should the event occur that the pilot had to detach the cockpit from the ship's hull. Despite the ship's greater cost than its competitors, Karric Nayms was convinced that, like their other designs for the Hutts which emphasized on survivability over the ability to dish out damage, the increased cost would be overlooked. Like all of MandalMotors' starship designs, the Massiff Fighter was available for all Mandalorians to purchase and use. As of the beginning of 18 ABY, the ship was not due to be released on the open market.
