She was an ambitious officer, who intended to become the first female to command a Defense Force starship. In addition, Ag'hel was an agent loyal to Councillor Komor, who acted in concert with Ambassador Kaljagh to derail the peace talks with the Federation held on Starbase 49. She was eventually discovered after planting a photon torpedo on the hull of the Terthos. (TOS novel: In the Name of Honor) In 2375, General Ag'hel was among those who sided with Morjod during his coup d'etat against Chancellor Martok. (DS9 novel: The Left Hand of Destiny, Book One) There is no direct evidence, beyond the names, that the general mentioned in the latter book is the same one who appeared in the former, though there is also nothing to contradict this assumption.
