Here’s a reddit thread I happened to find the other day about exactly this, which should be a reasonable level of corroboration. Hi buzzpeople, you gave a nice enough cover for the crazed money grubbers at EA, but you missed one little detail when you said that people who buy a game used have to pay for the servers they use. This is, I’m sorry to say, complete BS, as one would assume I bought a license for unlimited playing on their severs with the game, and now I no longer play, but someone else does, so it does not actually make a difference to EA.
