| abstract | - Saṃsāra Chakra (Seishi Chakura, 生死チャクラ) is the unique chakra of Kisshoten Benzaiten. Being the progenitor of progenitor of the Benzaiten and Ōtsutsuki Clans, is can be used to grant someones the use of Shinshinshu as well as evolve the Byakugan into a Tenseigan; a Sharingan into a Rinnegan; and a Rinnegan into a Rinne Sharingan respectively. The mechanism behind this change is unknown, and apparently has to be enabled, as the process isn't autonomous. The exact nature of this special chakra isn't clear, but what is known is that it improves the power, abilities, attributes of the user and their techniques by an astounding margin. On an interesting note, this unique chakra negates the likes of Dark Chakra and the Dark Release, as well as Chakra Absorption Techniques, rendering them useless and ineffective on the user. Outside of being gifted the chakra by users, it is unknown how one obtains this chakra. When mixed with chakra and Shinshinshu, it results in Samsara Senjutsu, which can be used to entered a heightened state referred to as Saṃsāra Sage Mode.
