We can not find any reference how those Ogres came to Tanaris. Speculations say that they have been brought here by the Steamwheedle Cartel as guards and escaped. Other Speculations say that they have been brought by some other cartel which wanted to minimize the profit of the Steamwheedle Cartel by placing a race there that would only live by robbing them.
