- The Blob is a slime unit you will be able to create after defeating 20 Blob units, which are first encountered in Episode 8: Frigidia - Forsaken Glacier. It is heavily defense-orientated with the highest DEF and RES of any creatable class. They also sport reasonable INT but very low HP and ATK. The Blob will eventually learn all 4 tiers of the base healing skills, but won't learn Revive or Espoir. It's proficient in Magic with Space/Time skills as support, but also dabbles in Nature, Status, and Healing skills. - A blob was the nickname for a gelatinous, green creature from Gobindi. These creatures were not native to the jungle as the residents thought. They were actually the result of a virus created by Borborygmus Gog, and imperial bio-scientist. The virus, unlike most, thrived on heat, such as the natural body heat created from angry feelings as well as Gobindi's climate. Gog would capture beings and inject them with the virus. The area where the shot was injected would swell up and soon spurt green goo. The goo would cover the body and turn them into a blob.

- The Blob is a mutant whose latent superhuman powers manifested themselves when he reached puberty. His major weaknesses were his short temper, lack of foresight, his lack of intelligence, and his easily-manipulated self-esteem. Thinking of himself as no more than "an extra-strong freak" in his own words, the Blob used his superhuman powers as a performer in a carnival.
The original X-Men came to the carnival in their everyday identities to invite him to meet with their mentor Professor Charles Xavier. Attracted to the beautiful young X-Man Jean Grey, the Blob accepted and went with the X-Men to Xavier's mansion.
There, Xavier asked the Blob to join the X-Men, but the Blob arrogantly refused. Xavier then knew he had to use his mental powers to erase the Blob's knowledge of the X-Men's true identities. But the Blob had no intention of letting this happen and, after fighting the X-Men, escaped back to the carnival.

| abstract | - The Blob is a slime unit you will be able to create after defeating 20 Blob units, which are first encountered in Episode 8: Frigidia - Forsaken Glacier. It is heavily defense-orientated with the highest DEF and RES of any creatable class. They also sport reasonable INT but very low HP and ATK. The Blob will eventually learn all 4 tiers of the base healing skills, but won't learn Revive or Espoir. It's proficient in Magic with Space/Time skills as support, but also dabbles in Nature, Status, and Healing skills. It's well suited to books that can teach it some magic or, if you plan to use it as a distraction to absorb a few hits, items that will boost its HP. It's biggest issue is that it has the lowest confinement time of any phantom in the game, with only a single opportunity to act and the shortest movement range. As it also sports the lowest steal chance, it's not particularly useful for taking home items either. The Blob is best used as a target to absorb damage in an emergency, but can be hard to raise due to its confinement limitations.

- Fred J. Dukes was born in Lubbock, Texas and was a member of a circus sideshow. He went by the name of Blob during his stay with the circus. When Professor X sensed his Mutant power, he sent the X-Men out to locate Dukes. They discovered Fred at the circus demonstrating his abilities as a side-show freak. Fred was uninterested in meeting with the X-Men until he saw Jean Grey, and agreed to go along with them to get to know her. After submitting himself to a battery of tests, Professor X determined that the Blob was a mutant as he suspected. He extended Fred an invitation to be an X-man. The rest of the team didn't like him for his obnoxious attitude. He refused the invitation because he believed himself to be better and stronger than than the entire team. The Blob attempted to leave, but Professor X knew that he couldn't allow him to just walk out knowing their secret identities. The X-Men attempted to restrain him while Xavier tried to erase his mind of the whole ordeal, but despite their efforts he managed to escape. Fred had always believed himself to just be stronger than most other guys, however he now knew the true source of his abilities. Now knowing about his powers he was determined not to let anyone else tell him what to do. Returning to the circus he demanded that the other performers follow him as their leader. The Blob returned to Xavier Institute for Higher Learning with the rest of the circus folk and tried to take over. Under Blob's leadership the performers were able to assist in subduing the X-Men. Alone in the mansion, Xavier perfected a device that would amplify his abilities to control the entire crowd. He mentally instructed Jean to free the other X-Men, and they were able to get the drop on the Blob. He and the rest of the circus people were stopped by the X-Men and all of their memories of their encounter with the X-Men were erased. Blob and the other performers went back to their dull lives, none having any recollection of the events that transpired. Despite having removed the Blob's memories, Professor Xavier knew that one day the Blob may regain his memories of the X-Men and become a danger to the world once again.

- The Blob is a carnivorous plasmic life form that has developed to hunt its prey, evolving into one of the galaxies ultimate predators. Created as an experimental virus by the United States Army to be used for biological warfare for defense, the Blob started life as simple bacteria which was launched into orbit inside a specially built satellite. As part of the program, the bacteria was exposed to the conditions of space, which caused it to mutate. Growing at a geometric rate, the bacteria's activity threw the satellite out of orbit, causing it to plummet towards Earth. When the satellite crash landed, the mutated bacteria, or Blob, was able to escape, hunting its human prey and wreaking havoc. Gelatinous, translucent and "goopy" in consistency, the Blob is a fleshy pink/purple colored shapeless organic mass, which travels by slithering, sliding, and pouring along the ground. As it has no skeletal system, the Blob can squeeze through nearly any gap or pipe, and can change it's shape almost at will. It is able to form tentacles or tendrils which it can shoot out to grab hold of its prey, and is surprisingly strong, enabling it to crawl up walls, support its entire weight (and that of its prey) while clinging to the ceiling, bend metal doors, or pull an entire adult human through a gap the size of a plug hole. When the Blob seizes its prey, it will envelop them completely, secreting an acidic enzyme which quickly melts the prey's skin and dissolves their flesh. Sometime the Blob will kill its prey and then slither inside the corpse, waiting to ambush anyone who comes close enough. With eat meal, the Blob increases in mass, and is capable of increasing its initial mass by at least a factor of one thousand. Though the Blob can survive underwater for long periods of time (possibly indefinitely), and does not appear to require oxygen or air (as it was developed under vacuum conditions in space), it cannot stand cold temperatures. Extreme cold will cause the Blob to become crystalline in nature, rendering it useless, though it may be able to survive if the temperature is raised.

Nei sotterranei della villa, essendo privi di armi, sarà necessario eliminarle con dei soffitti trappola. Nella difficoltà Esperto queste creature possono bloccare la trappola con la loro arma, un pugno KO li indebolirà abbastanza per fargli cadere la trappola addosso.
