Lance: The order in which you'll face the Elite Four is as follows. First, you'll face, Will, the Psychic-type trainer; Koga, the Poison-type trainer and former Gym Leader of the Fuchsia City Gym; Bruno, the Fighting-type trainer; and Karen, the Dark-type trainer. Only after you defeat all four will you be able to face me, Lance, Champion of the Elite Four. Caber: (looks at Sugar, then to Lance) Um, would it be alright if my friends came and watched my battles? Lance: Of course. Each battlefield has seats for friends of a challenger. (winks) Caber: Thanks. Will: (steps forward) As I'll be your first challenge, feel free to follow me to my battlefield. Will: Now, young man, this will be a 5-on-5 battle. It will be over when Pokémon from either side are no longer able to continue. Also, as it is with Gym Battles, only you, the challenger, are allowed to make substitutions. Caber: (nods) Understood, sir. Sugar: (to her Pokémon) Ready? Sugar: Okay! Will: (brings out a Poké Ball) Go, Grumpig! Grumpig: (appears) Grumpig! Caber: (brings out a Poké Ball) Go, Tyrantrum! Tyrantrum: (appears) Tyrantrum! Will: (returns Grumpig) Nicely done, young man. Especially teaching your Tyrantrum a Dark-type move. (brings out another Poké Ball) Let's see how you deal with this one. Go, Exeggutor! Exeggutor: (appears) Exeggutor! Caber: Can ya still battle Tyrantrum? Tyrantrum: (nods) Trum. Caber: Okay, then. Will: (returns Exeggutor) Not bad. (brings out another Poké Ball) Go, Slowbro! Slowbro: (appears) Sloooooow. Caber: You've done enough for now, Tyrantrum. Return. (returns Tyrantrum, pulls out his Pokédex) Caber: (brings out Lure Ball) Go, Gyarados! Big Faye: (giggles) I wonder how things are going for Caber and the others. Will: Go, Jynx! Jynx: (appears) Jynx! Caber: (brings out another Poké Ball) Go, Charizard! Polly: Whoa. Amy: Amazing. Joel: Now Will only has one Pokémon left to use. Sugar: Which one? Will: (returns Jynx, brings out another Poké Ball) This one - Go, Xatu! Xatu: (appears) Xatu. Amy: That answer your question, Sugar? Sugar: Yep. Caber: In that case, it's time to power up. (touches Key Stone) Charizard, Mega Evolve! Will: Hmm. Now this just got more interesting. Sugar: Go, Caber, go, Caber, go-go-go! Will: (returns Xatu) Well done, young Caber. You've managed to win against one of the Elite Four. Caber: Thanks. Polly: I wonder who Caber's gonna battle next? Sugar: (shrugs) Dunno. Koga: (steps up) That would be me. Amy: You okay, Sugar? Sugar: Yeah... Except I'm scared of Poison-types. Amy: You do realize Cupcake is part Poison-type too, right? Sugar: That's different! I'm familiar with her. Polly: Sugar?
