rdfs:comment | - The Type-220 Anti-Armor Carbine was a bullpup carbine featuring almost no moving parts save for the shock absorber in the stock and the rounds themselves. A set of 3 gauss rings introduced a 4mm slug into the coil assembly, significantly reducing the risk of jamming and isolating it into the clip itself. The simple, sealed construction allowed the weapon to operate wonderfully in sandy or humid areas.

abstract | - The Type-220 Anti-Armor Carbine was a bullpup carbine featuring almost no moving parts save for the shock absorber in the stock and the rounds themselves. A set of 3 gauss rings introduced a 4mm slug into the coil assembly, significantly reducing the risk of jamming and isolating it into the clip itself. The simple, sealed construction allowed the weapon to operate wonderfully in sandy or humid areas. However, soldiers on the field complained of the heat management issues, as well as the need to replace the coil assembly after emptying the clip a few times. These flaws are balanced by praise of the Type-220's excellent accuracy and high ammunition capacity. Eventually prior to the Galactic Civil War the model was discontinued and replaced with the reworked and more efficient Vajra M50 AIWS.
