  • Justin Hobgood, born July 31, 1979, is a NASCAR driver from Winnsboro, SC. He has competed in five Craftsman Truck Series shows and currently drives the #91 MSRP Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlo on a part-time basis in the Nationwide Series. Hobgood made his Busch Series debut in 2003, racing at Memphis for Curb Racing. Starting 27th in the field, Hobgood would finish there after a late crash. He completed 167 of the 250 laps. Hobgood disappeared until late 2005 when Germain Racing took him under a driver development deal. He made his debut at Richmond, with an 8th place qualifying effort. He ran well most of the race, finally falling to 23rd, one lap off the pace. He qualified tenth at Phoenix and ended up with a career-best 20th and then would close up the deal with a 35th at Homestead-Miami. Hobgood was expected to compete with the team full-time in 2006, but a late deal came up for the team with Ted Musgrave, leaving him unemployed. He returned in 2007 to drive a third truck, the #03, at Lowe's Motor Speedway. He had an eighth place qualifying effort, but wrecked and finished last. The following season, he ran the season opening Chevy Silverado 250, driving the #53 Georgia Beef Board Ford F-150 for Black Bull Racing. He started 32d and finished 20th. Later in the season, he was hired to drive the #91 for MSRP Motorsports in the Nationwide Series. His best finish has been a 38th.
