| abstract | - These are small enemies in The game Pikmin: New World. They are actually Creeping Chrysanthemums in their larval stage. They appear to be the dead bulbs of Creeping Crysanthemums lying on the ground, but coming close to them will result in them hopping up and revealing their true identities. The creature itself looks a lot like a crysanthemum bulb except it has five legs on its bottom. It will scuttle towards your pikmin group and immediately begin devouring pikmin with the mouth on its bulb. However, they will flee from the captains and are very fast runners. This makes them difficult to attack. They are nearly impossible to swarm, because their legs hold them off the ground like a dweevil's. Instead, rapidly toss pikmin into its sides or bottom, as throwing onto the top will result in the pikmin being eaten. The perfect time to attack is when it is fleeing as they are completely off guard at the time and their defense is extremely minimal. Purples, reds, or olives are the three recommended types for beating this relatively easy enemy.
