Through his pain, he clearly recognises his attacker. Badly beaten, Cain tries to get up but is then whacked on the head. Adam goes looking for John and sees him walking down the road alone. He insists he gets in the car and sees blood on John's hand. At the same time, Moira is in a terrible state as she returns back to Marlon's, getting herself a stiff drink before heading upstairs to avoid Marlon's questioning. Over at the pub, Charity is jittery and agitated as she enters, demanding a whisky from Chas. Soon afterwards, Cameron is driving when he spots Jai standing over Cain's lifeless body at the side of the road. Clearly shaken, Jai claims he found Cain in this state. Fearing Cain is dead, Cameron calls an ambulance and is shocked as Jai quickly leaves the scene.
