  • Young Aadi Alahan suffered a small fall when playing with Simon Barlow and knocked his head in August 2010. Seemingly fine, the next day it developed into a haemorrhage and he fell unconscious on the sofa in 7 Coronation Street. Not knowing what was wrong, worried mother Sunita Alahan rang for an ambulance and paramedic Suzanne and her colleague rushed round. She examined his eyes, fitted an oxygen mask and swiftly took the child to Weatherfield General. She was then was one of the emergency crews who were deployed to the Street in December 2010 when it was rocked by an explosion from The Joinery bar, followed by a derailed tram from the wrecked viaduct. One of the trapped people was Molly Dobbs, pinned underneath the wreckage of the Corner Shop with her baby Jack. Firefighter Paul was the first fireman to make his way through the rubble to the mother and son where he spoke words of comfort to her and rescued the baby from her, promising to be back with more men and equipment. Once outside the shop, he handed the baby over to Suzanne for the infant to be taken to hospital for examination and observation. In May 2015, she was part of the crew that attended the fire at Victoria Court. She examined Amy Barlow who had been trapped in the fire and soon afterwards gave CPR to Maddie Heath whose pulse had stopped when she had been caught in a secondary explosion from the Builder's Yard. Maddie came round, though weak and was transferred to an ambulance for a trip to the hospital. Credited as "Paramedic", the character was named in dialogue in her May 2015 appearance.
