Her sire, Charlotte Ingraham, eventually embraced her out of respect and after two years of grooming and ghoulship. The two ventured to Italy, Sara informing her parents that she did not want jeopardize the good name of the family with her tendencies. She quickly advanced within the Camarilla and even took part in the battles to retake New York from the Sabbat. This made several Elders cautious and they rewarded her with princedom replacing Jochen Van Nuys in San Francisco - yet another battlefield. They hope that this would either shut her down and remove a threat to their rule or would eliminate the threat of the Cathayans. Sara Anne Winder, however, is confident that she could severly weaken cathayan influence within the city. She even considers Mass Embracing tactics to gain an edge over the few Kuei-jin stationed there.
