  • It Hurts is a song by Angels & Airwaves. According to Kerrang! magazine, this song is "An anthem for the broken-hearted." Says Tom DeLonge: "I have a friend who's got a girlfriend that's the cheating type. It's a terrible situation where my friend is being crushed from the inside out by all the manipulative stuff she's doing and this song is about that." (thanks, Todd - Blackwood, NJ) {| class="collapsible collapsed" style="width: 100%; text-align: center;"
  • It Hurts was the Swedish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul performed by Lena Philipsson. An uptempo, disco sounding song, Philipsson's stage appearance caused much controversy in Swedish press and media because her performance, in a short fuchsia pink dress and high heels, consisted of dancing with the microphone stand in a fashion similar to Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.

An uptempo, disco sounding song, Philipsson's stage appearance caused much controversy in Swedish press and media because her performance, in a short fuchsia pink dress and high heels, consisted of dancing with the microphone stand in a fashion similar to Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. Under the new rules, Sweden did not have to participate in the semifinal due to their 5th-place finish in 2003. In the final, it was performed last following Romania. At the close of voting, it finished in 5th place with 170 points, giving Sweden a guaranteed spot in the 2005 final.
