[1] The 2013 virtual collectible card battle game Star Trek: Rivals has card #37, titled Iowan Police Hoverbike. The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 349) stated this type of vehicle was employed by the Iowa State Police and dated the incident in the movie to 2244.
