| abstract | - Ronald Top (born in the Netherlands) appeared on Coronation Street in June 1998 as Johan, who shared his houseboat in Amsterdam with Hayley Patterson when she went to the city to undergo gender correction surgery. After completing his four-year study at the Drama Academy in Maastricht, he worked as a stage actor in Antwerp, at the National Theatre in The Hague and several other Dutch theatre groups. His other credits include roles in Called to the Bar, Achter het scherm, Wij Alexander, Combat, Westenwind, Baantjer, A'dam - E.V.A., Goede tijden, slechte tijden, Overspel 2, Flikken Maastricht and Spangas.
