| Synopsis | - When a private investigator working for Bruce Wayne tracks down Halo's home town and parents, the Outsiders prepare to return her home, while Metamorpho, wanting to see his love Sapphire Stagg has Dr. Jace create a device to counteract his weakness: The Orb of Ra.
However, when Metamorpho visits Sapphire, her father Simon has over seen this contingency by attacking Metamorpho with an army of men, each one armed with an Orb or Ra, and Metamorpho is effectively killed. After the Outsiders have returned to base after dropping Halo off at home, they are startled when Dr. Jace and Sapphire Stagg arrive with a dead Metamorpho.
